How to tell if Security scan is finished?

Hi, I just installed the Security plugin and kicked off the 1st scan. How do I know when the scan is completed?

I’m a current paid user of anti-spam CleanTalk plugin and trying to perform a website scan. However, scan never starts after clicking either the button inside Malware Scan (Security plugin) nor the “Start malware scan” link inside my services panel.

I have an interesting issue. I use a cdn and get a malware warning saying nws-4a82.kxcdn.com is infected with malware on my website https://www.newmanwebsolutions.com

Shows MW:blk:2 – (javascript from blacklisted website)

When I disable cdn – and scan my site there is no malware detected. When I reactivate it – the warning is back. I purged the zone several times – not sure why this is having when I enable the cdn.

Please help. Is anyone else experiencing this issue? do you know how I can narrow down which script it is?

Settings page only shows one option

Hi,

Installed plugin and everything seems to be working fine apart from the settings page…quite key I think.

The only option I can see is the Show RSS widget in dashboard, the others above it are just check boxes with no options beside them on view. Basically can’t see what to activate or not.

Any idea when this will be bug fixed?

The alert below was raised this afternoon. Contacted my Web Host but they could not comment due to lack of information. Is it possible to provide me with my info about this particular scan, so that I can pass it on to them?

My Hosting Company suggested I check with you regarding this message I received below from Site Lock as a low security issue. What does “pwd” refer to?

I would like to know how exactly the security scan is performed? I’m a premium user all the vulnerabilities have been fixed by your Bodyguard but it’s interesting for me to know how you find the security vulnerabilities.

Locked out after wp_ prefix change with security scan

I changed wp_ prefix in hopes to make my website more secure once it was launched. Instead, I managed to lock myself out of my WP admin pages. To make matters worse, my backup was also done incorrectly. I’m new to mac and made a stupid mistake.

Could someone please help. I think that running a SQL will help (according to recommendations of many searches).

If I go under the database table, 2nd tab (SQL) and type…
UPDATEMYNEWPREFIX_usermetaSETmet_key=REPLACE(meta_key,’wp_’,
‘MYNEWPREFIX_’)

…and MYNEWPREFIX is replaced with the prefix that I typed instead of WP (typed exactly as above without spaces)…will this fix the problem? I was using the WP Security Scan as the plug-in.

[Plugin: WP Security Scan] .htaccess chmod not showing in ‘scan’

I’ve run this plugin on 3 blogs without any trouble but on the fourth there is something weird.

I created .htaccess (it creates with 644 by default), but the plugin on the scan page is showing that the permissions are ‘.0.’ – whatever that is. I’ve tried changing the perms to something else and then back to 644, but the plugin is still showing it as ‘.0.’.

Any ideas?
