Pull Embed Video Into Campus Page

Hello.

I’m using the most recent version of DIVI as well as the most recent version of SM. I can’t use pro because it breaks Divi with a “builder timeout” error.

Forgive me, I’m still pretty green at all of this, so I might come off a bit dumb. So just hang with me a minute, then you can call me dumb and help me fix my problem. I’m good with that.

I’m trying to pull some of the information from the most recent sermon and drop it into the homepage of the site so visitors can quickly get served the most recent sermon dynamically. I’m trying to get the YouTube embedded video, sermon title, date taught, and teacher’s name. I’m seeing some shortcode that’ll get me sort of where I want to go, but not quite. I’ve googled to try and find some shortcode that’ll let me target just the items I need from the sermon, but have had no such luck. Or, I don’t know what I’m looking at and I’ve missed it.

Can anyone help me out? How do I get specific sermon fields into other site pages?

SMPro Creates DIVI Error

Hello.

I’m using them most recent versions of both DIVI and SM Pro. When I download the zip file for the Pro extension, install it, then activate it it breaks DIVI. When trying to load the builder page I get the “Divi Builder Timeout” error.

I deactivate the SM Pro plugin and the builder loads just fine.

Anyone else having this problem? Anyone have any help they could throw my way? Thanks y’all!

SERMON MANAGER Bug

Can’t get block to work in heading of sermon page. I’ve tried video, mp3, image, slideshow, TEXT even!, html custom, shortcode, code, classic and it shows in preview but wipes it all when i publish it. SO…I guess I’m stuck with a boring title and the audio file in preview.

Latest version of SM.
Latest version of WP.
Deactivated plugins to see if it fixed. No.
And yes, I tried to replicate the block on a regular WP page aswell and it worked fine.

The block won’t even display text! in SM.

I really don’t know if I’ll get a reply to this but just thought I’d make a last ditch effort before switching to a different plugin.

I notice a few people have posted about this error with one person receiving some help from the plugin author, they also stated that this issue would be fixed with an update – That was 2 months ago.

Any help to fix this issue would be appreciated and gratefully received.

Captcha in Sermon Manager

I use Sermon Manager free v2.16.7 on a website running WordPress 5.7.1 and PHP 7.4.16 with the twenty-thirteen theme.
I keep seeing this error on using the “inspect” option in chrome while I am trying to debug some other issue with Sermon Manager.
“Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 ()” The file indicated is captcha.js:1.
I use reCaptcha v3 on my website but note there is no option in the settings for Sermon Manager to either disable or change what is used. Does Sermon Manager incorporate captcha by default? If so, is there a way to reconfigure to use v3? Am I tracking the wrong source for this fault?
Any help would be appreciated.

Can’t add embed sermon url with REST API

I’ve been using the REST API to programmatically create sermons.
I looked in https://[site-url]/wp-json/wp/v2/wpfc_sermon for objects to use.
My body json is this:

    "title": "test",
    "sermon_video_embed": "<\/iframe>"

}

I can add a title or date, but when I try to embed a sermon, “sermon_video_embed” is blank

Index page for sermons works, single page doesn’t!

Hey there!

Since many years I have your Sermons theme running on a German catholic paroche.

At the moment we want to have all older sermons on several pages and for that, we started to us your Serman Manager plug-in.

The index page from this plug-in works, but the single sermon page doesn’t.

Any idea why?

Shortcodes not working – No sermons found.

Hi,
I have an issue with shortcodes. After adding sermons through the Dashboard, I copied the shortcodes [sermons] to my sermon page but it return the error message saying that “No sermons found.” However, when I’m creating a sermon on the dashboard and preview it from there everything is working. Is there someone who can help me to fix this?

REST API does not work for all fields

Thank you for this plugin! You are doing a great job!

I am having trouble updating sermon posts via REST API. I need to update two fields ‘sermon_description’ and ‘sermon_video_url’. I get a HTTP 200 response when updating both fields but values are saved in ‘sermon_description’ however not in ‘sermon_video_url’.

Could you please take a look at it.

Jetpack Triggers Error in sermons.php (line 560)

Receiving the following error in 2.16.1 (current revision with most recent fixes).

From the stack trace it appears to be triggered by a JETPACK Sync. I haven’t traced through very much, but it’s triggering the automatic email notification by my provider saying something’s wrong… and the log file has more than a few entries like the following.
