server key?

Hello,

I’m trying to set up this plugin but I am using Firebase httpv1. I uploaded the json file successfully, entered in the required fields EXCEPT for the “server key.” There is not a server key button in Firebase as is shown in the tutorial. Is this still needed? I note that without it, as soon as I save the settings, I got a browser notification request popping up? Do you only need to enter this for legacy or can you tell me where to get the server key if I do need it?

Hello,

I’m trying to get the WP Store Locator Plugin to work correctly. I have created the Browser Key and Server Key. Along with a Main Google API Key. On the backend of the website the plugin says that the Browser Key and Server Key are correct (no red errors). I can’t figure out why I am still getting the following error.

“This page didn’t load Google Maps correctly. See the JavaScript console for technical details.”

I have followed the setup documentation here:

I tried editing the Browser Key and “Restricting” it and selecting API keys. That didn’t change anything.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Or am I missing something?

API error only in sales point page

an error appears on the map only in the pages of the stores.

On the home page of the site https://pointservice.net/ the Google map loads correctly without errors.

I customized “Store slug” and “Category slug” could this be the error?

The “Validate API keys” test is successful:
“No problems found with the server key”
“No problems found with the browser key”

What can i do to resolve?

Server key error

I have WordPress version 5 and WP store locator Version 2.2.19.

I entered the browser key without any issues however when I added the server key following error is displayed –

There’s a problem with the provided server key.

Error message: This IP, site or mobile application is not authorized to use this API key. Request received from IP address 74.208.57.169, with referer: https://maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/geocode/json?address=Manhattan%2C+NY+10036%2C+USA&key=AIzaSyC26F8W45ZWXk9C_Jc2orCdegJFAXR_kfw.

Make sure the IP address mentioned in the error matches with the IP set as the referrer for the server API key in the Google API Console.

I created API for the first time, I called my service provider and reconfirmed the IP it’s hosted in a 1and1 server.

I have tried creating the key multiple times and created again fresh after removing the old one.

Please let me know how to fix this issue.

Issue with creating and using new server API key after update to 2.2.17

I’m currently running WP Store Locator 1.2.25 and have recently installed the CSV Manager add-on that is requiring me to update to version 2.2.17 in order to use. When I updated the plugin to 2.2.17, it broke my store locator or the API key I was currently using and was displaying a development purposes message over the map area. I noticed in the settings where WP Store Locator was prompting me to add a server API key and when I went to the Google API console, created a new API key and enter it after updating to the latest version, it seems to be breaking my map. Markers do not display as they should be displaying. I set a restore point and since reverted back to the previous version of the plugin so my map will work properly.

Any ideas what I could be doing wrong? Thanks!

I enabled self host cdn on the general settings of my site, and my server can only be accessible using server key. But under cdn settings, there is no option for server key.

How do I go about this?

I already tried in local and dev mode. It’s working after going live got this issue. As documentation, I created Server key and Browser key but not working I attached the screenshot of errors. How can I fix it?
