I’m new to wordpress and I bought myself a domain and webspace a few days ago.
I want to build a portfolio with it to display my illustrations and conceptart.
I really like Noah Bradley’s portfolio (www.noahbradley.com)
and I would love to do something like that.
But I am not able to get my pictures to show on the front page in full size, like his do.
They are showing as small thumbs, where I’m getting to the blog post if I click on them.
But I basically just want them to be displayed.
Do I need to change stuff in the Sharpfolio code or what can you guys suggest me?
Thanks!
Lukas~
I had it install on my test site, and it worked beautifully. After setting it up on the actual domain, the images just link to another page.
I am using this in conjunction with Sharpfolio theme. I have thoroughly checked through all the template files, css, and plug-in settings and everything seems to be identical to the working version.
The site where it’s not working is:

Please help!
On the theme demo page (https://webrevolutionary.com/sharpfolio-demo/) when you click “Contact” the SMCF plugin generates a popup contact form. I can see in the source code that there is a special class for the link:

Contact

However, after following the Sharpfolio instructions, I am not seeing this class bit inserted into the source code for my site, and when I click “Contact” on my site the link just takes me to a blank page.
These are the instructions for setting up that link to launch the contact form plugin:
‘Setup Contact Form
Please add new page (Dashboard > Pages > Add New)
Title = contact
Description : leave it blank
Permalinks : https://yourdomainname.com/contact ‘
I can’t help but suspect that something has been left out of the equation.
What am I missing?

I inserted enough images to have multiple pages within one of my sections, but when you scroll down to the bottom of the first page it defaults to
“<< Previous Page”. Then when you follow the link and scroll to the bottom of the second page, it says “>> Next Page”. So basically, it’s backwards.
Any suggestions to fix/edit this? Has this ever happened to anyone else?
Thanks.
1) Can I take a few different themes that I like different parts of and combine them? i.e. one theme I like has a great header, one has a great portfolio, one has great nav, etc. None of the existing themes out there would obviously have exactly everyhting I need, so I want to customize without hiring someone to build a custom site. which leads to my next question.
2) When people make theme and put them out there, do most of them not allow you to customize? i.e. some say “3 color options”. Is this a “locked” thing? Why can’t I make the theme any color I want? I downloaded one called “Sharpfolio” I can’t seem to put my logo in the header b/c it’s set up for text only. You get the interface that lets you change the font color, but it looks like if you want to do anything more than that, it blocks it. Am I missing something or are themes not able to be customized 100% unlimited?
Thanks in advance for your help!
