“
There has been a critical error on this website.
”
The error occurs after clicking the “buy shipping label” button.
I have a screenshot that might be helpful but I don’t know how to attach it here
I’m using the premium version of PDF Invoices which allows me to choose the ‘Simple Premium’ template. However I cant seem to show the shipping costs Tax amount on my invoice.
I costumized the rows of my invoice and tried to edit the ‘VAT’ to ‘Shipping tax’ but this doesnt show anything on my invoice. I also checked if my woocommerce shipping is set up taxable which it is. For some reason the the VAT Product tax does show my the amount on the invoice.
In this screenshot I added two ‘VAT’ rows. One with product tax and the other with shipping tax. But only the product tax is showing.
What could be the problem?
I am using this plugin in that we already implemented based on weight we have added the shipping charges now in addition to that we need to add the tax for the shipping charges also?
How do I do that… can anyone help me with that?
Thanks in Advance
I have hit a little snag and can’t seem to find an option to solve this, basically I show my prices inclusive of tax and then at the checkout exclusive of tax and then I get a breakdown of the product prices, subtotal, tax and shipping.
However what I am wanting to do is for Woocommerce to take 20% off the shipping and show this in the tax section as right now it only shows the tax of the products, I want it to show the tax of the products and the tax of the shipping on the tax line at checkout, is this possible.
It might help to mention that I am using the weight based shipping plugin.
Right now shipping costs 4.17€ (excl. tax)
Price should be in this example calculated:
150€/600€ * 4.17€ = 1,04€ (this amount needs to be taxed with 10% tax)
450€/600€ * 4.17€ = 3.13€ (this amount needs to be taxed with 20% tax)
I hope it’s all makes sense.
And now here is my question. Is there a way to make this calculation possible somehow, just using Woocommerce setting? If yes, how?
If not. Do you have any hints, how to code this? I never made some additional code changes to Woocommerce so I am new to this.
Thank you so so much for every kind of help!
I am having an issue with shipping tax always getting charged at checkout. As I have some products I need to charge shipping tax on and some not (depending on where I ship the product to), I need this option. For example: If I ship to Germany, I need to charge tax only on the product but we don’t charge tax on shipping here. If I ship to the UK, I need to charge tax both on the product & shipping.
I have done the following:
1. Created a tax class named “EU VAT only rates” & unchecked the shipping boxes: https://snipboard.io/bdGzrv.jpg
2. However, at checkout I am still being charged tax on shipping: https://snipboard.io/h1HqQ8.jpg (shipping shows .95 tax charged, but should be 0)
Am I doing something wrong here in the settings?
Best,
Chris
I am using Dokan and I am trying to charge shipping on a product. Invoices need to show the amount and rate charged for the product and shipping. It works for the product, but does not show for the shipping.
1. Cart show total tax applied for product + shipping: https://snipboard.io/38DkWB.jpg but I need it to break down for both.
2. Same for the invoice: https://snipboard.io/wHpkiy.jpg
Best,
Chris
When I added woocommerce to my website, it came with woocommerce shipping and tax, but I’ve never used it because I’m not in the USA so it can’t help with shipping and for tax I don’t need it. Shipping and tax has just asked for an update and for some reason the update failed and it has disappeared. Does woocommerce need the shipping and tax plugin or will I be OK to carry on without it? I don’t want to to anything to risk my site and the ability of people to buy from me, but I also don’t want pointless plugins.
Thanks very much!
