Short posts = no comment?

When posts are very short – like several here – the post index page doesn’t include a link to the post page so there is no obvious way for people to leave a comment. If they click on the blog link in the sidebar, they will find the right page to post a comment – but presumably those sidebar links will scroll out of sight over time.

Am I missing something? TIA.

My posts are not showing whole message anymore

I have had my posts to show the whole story always.
But after I installed some plugins today all posts suddenly shows max 270-280 characters. If i click the topic i can read the full text.

I uninstalled all plugins that i installed earlier but no change, im still stucked with short posts.

In the settings panel / read, i have text flow marked as show all

So, does someone now what i could do to show all text of my posts?

ps.
(i have WP installed in swedish so i′m not sure what the options are called exacyly in english)

Hi. How do I shorten the posts that gets displayed on the homepage, such that it would not contain the content of every post and just contain “teasers” or the first part of each post? Readers can just click on a “Read more” link to read the whole article. How do I go about this? Thanks!

Dear All,

I’m a pretty new to a WordPress. Lately I played with it and everything seems to be easy, but there is one problem that I just can’t figure out.

So my question is:
How can show the “full post” of the story where “shot story” will not be shown/displayed.

In other words, when I use read more tab for the content on my blog, I want visitors to be able to click on the read more tab and to be able to read a full content, but in this case I don’t want to show the content which is above read more tag (when adding the story).

Hello, I am trying to get a uniform look to my front page like on this website: https://www.photoshoplady.com/

I want part of my website to function as this on does. I am going to have a tutorial section where there will be a ton of info and pictures and the ocasional video. So what I need is to include 1 uniform image that might not be the same image or size as the one in the full post, and some teaser text next to it.

Do I have to make two posts to make this look good? One on the front page linking to another post on another page? Please help!?

I have a quick question about posting that I cant figure out.

Ok, so I am setting up a word press for a friend and what I want to do is have a short post with a picture to the left of it similar to this link that links to it’s own page where the full post is.
Is this a function when you post? Do I have to make 2 posts? A short one for the front page that has a link to another page?
What is the procedure for this?
