Menu short tags in Twenty Twenty Two theme (FSE)

Hi there!

I’m testing the plugin with the Full Site Editing Twenty Twenty Two theme, and I’ve discovered that menu short-tags are nor working on the template builder menus.

Is there any way to make this works?

It is printing literally “{first_name} {user_avatar_small}”.

I’ve seen a threat where you shared a beta version of the plugin, but it is no longer available.

We would like to use this plugin in our future works, but we would like to know if it will work with FSE themes.

Short tags in menu not working

Hello,
since the last update of the plugin, the short tags in the menu item for logged in users are not working anymore. The installed version is 2.3.1
Any hint to solve that?

I′ve an question about the contactform. I have installed an SMTP plugin (from Tech Banker) and all setting are good in this setup in SMTP. I am struggling a bit.

I want that my client can answer the message of their members throughout the contactform. How/Where can I set-up an Reply-To: in the contactform?

I don′t want to make an automated reply what the sender sent them to my client.

Due privacy I don′t give the link of their website.

Smart Tags Not Working in Emails (v1.7.0)

Since updating to v.1.7.0 of this plugin, the emails sent to people registering no longer parse all of the smart tags, such as {{first_name}} and {{email}}. It just shows up in the email as “Dear {{first_name}} {{last_name}}” instead of “Dear Jane Doe”

It does still send to the correct email address (entered as {{email}} in the email settings “To” field), and it does still parse the site short codes (such as {{home_url}} and {{blog_info}}).

This was working properly when we were running v.1.6.3.

Can you provide a fix, or let me know if there’s anything I need to do to get this working again?

{nickname} short tag doesnt seem to work.

I am trying to add the add the nickname in the menu using {nickname} short tag but it doesnt seem to work. I just see {nickname} and not the actual nickname. I would like to mention that the other shorttags(name etc.) work great.

I was using something like this to include a master pricing file on certain pages so as to save updating each page when making changes.

[insert_php]include(TEMPLATEPATH.'/_filename.php');[/insert_php]

I created a short tag for this function and tested it on a page. I didn’t change any of the outputs/echo (using old insert php tags) on the page yet as I wanted to be sure the include function would work.

It didn’t. There was no output. So right at the starting gate, I’m having this issue. I’m dreading future updates. Deprecating the old version is going to cause me a lot of work.

Is there a list of { short tags } I can use in notification emails, besides whats already included in the default email templates located in Settings > Emails?

I’m especially curious to see if there is a tag for user role or community role.

Hi and thank you for an awesome plugin. Guaranteed I’ll become a paying customer in the not too distant future.

For now, I am using HTML version for the site emails but the info that should appear in the emails generated by the short tags isn’t working. For example, in the backend, the “pending review” email has the content,

Hi {display_name},

Thank you for signing up with {site_name}! Your account is currently being reviewed by a member of our team.

Please allow us some time to process your request.

This is what arrives in the inbox.

Thank you for signing up!
Your account has to be manually reviewed.
Please allow us some time to process your request and review your information.

The wording is different and more importantly no display_name or site_name.
