Adding filters to store locations

We want to see if we can add filters to our current website/dealer locator that shows that they display a specific product of ours if the user is requesting it (either with putting a logo, or listing that info somewhere) or if there is a way to give preference of a dealer at the top of the list if they do display that specific item in their showroom.

Basically, add a search query where they choose one of the products we offer when searching for a showroom near them and have those results display either by themselves or at the top of the list of results.

Can you let me know if this can be done at all?

Trying to find out how to add a widget to the Home page of my site. It does not have a page ID. The theme uses home.php. I want to add full width widget after the header and before the content.

Changing slug of post pages makes entire blog page disappear

Typically I set up a wordpress with a static home page and then rename my post from the default “hello-world” to “blog” or whatever the blog name is and set the posts page to that. With the Showroom theme (Genesis Child Theme), there is no static home page to set. It appears they have used the Posts page for the home page. For the posts page, it was working fine as long as I left it as hello-world. When I try to change that, it disappears and the page returns an error message. If I can’t change the posts page in the general wordpress settings, how can I redirect it to anything except hello-world?

Logo header image resize

Trying to increase the size of the logo in the header. I’ve increased the image size, and put the width + height (400×90) in the code. However, the only element that sizing changes is the wrap for the logo image. The image itself stays the same size, positioned in the upper left corner of the wrap. Don’t see a property for the image to fill the wrap? Don’t see that there is any padding that can be removed?

The submenu under “Blog”, “Jewelry” is called “Custom Jewelry”. It appears slightly higher than it’s parent (Jewelry) and goes off the edge of the screen. How can I fix that position please?

hello

ned some help finding a plugin or theme that can make me at searchable showroom for air filters.

the thing that should be shown is air filters for cars. and i want to make them sorted p? vehicle brand – model – engine – year of prodution.

so that you can choose to see if there is something for an vw golf 4 1,9tdi 2005.

there need to be some kond of database where i can add the filters to different model, since some filters will work for several cars.

there does not need to be a shopping cart since they will do the payment on another website
