I’m having troubles with the left sidebar of my website. When I’m using my laptop, the window is smaller then on my desktop. It looks fine on my desktop, but when wathing it on my laptop the left sidebar jumps down my content box.
I know the content of my page is the #primary div and the left sidebar the #secondary, the first pushes down the second when window is smaller. But how can I prevent this? I don’t want neither of them to jump anyware, just stay put… can someone help me?
This is the url of the website: https://31.3.97.74/~drillm/
Thanks in advance!
I checked out my html via the inspector.w3 website and there aren’t any open divs or tags open that would cause this.
I tried to make some changes via making a .containersidebar that had an absolute position, and a .containercontent that had a relative position that floated right. unfortunately now it’s acting all crazy, and my browser sometimes shows the content below and sometimes all the way out to the right-hand side in the background area (if you scroll right).

My website is https://www.reginamckinney.com
I’m using the Twenty Twelve theme and my right sidebar should be positioned next to my content instead of below it but it is not. I want to make sure my content remains responsive and I know there must be an easy fix.
Any help is appreciated.

But like I said, I’m not sure what to do with that data.
Thanks in advance.

p.s. cant figure out how to make the permalinks to work either – pages break when i turn them on….

I did do a search on this and found some info on using a validator to find the error. The search was done here: https://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nickmaise.com%2F&charset=%28detect+automatically%29&doctype=Inline&verbose=1
It says there are two errors but they don’t look like errors to me. I think this is the section in my code they are talking about:

About

Your #1 Resource for Free Health, Fitness, and Polyphasic Sleep Information

I’m new to HTML and don’t really know PHP or XHTML. After I checked the validation I tried using different themes and reinstalling stucco but the sidebar is below no matter what theme I use. Could someone please help?
Thanks a lot,
Nick
