]]>First of all I searched for a long time for the below problem and I’m not the expert in CSS and PHP.
I use the Twenty Fourteen Theme (as Child) and therefore I have a question.
I don’t really want to use the primary menu (top horizontal). So I setup the Secondary on the left side.
Problem: when the screen size is too small (as also on mobile phone) the secondary menu disappear to the footer and not be on the left side anymore.
For the mobile version I installed the Plugin “WP Mobile Pack” which works fine. But for on PC screens its not very useful when the menu is below.
So, I see two option on this:
1st: The secondary menu is to be exchanged with the primary if the resolution is too small.
2nd: The secondary menu would be fixed on the left side
or is there another trick to exchange the secondary with the primary ?
Does anyone can help me ? maybe there is someone else which has the same problem.
best
Roger
I have figured how to get an extra widgetized sidebar, now I need to get it in the position i want (all the way to the left, but still under the header, the text below has to come between the two sidebars) and I’m at my wits end.
To be clear, the sidebar all the way to the right is one that comes with the theme (it contains WooCommerce cart, and three text widgets (2 with images)). The one one the left (containing search, a menu and two WooCommerce widgets), needs to be placed all the way to the left so that the text of the static page can fit between the two sidebars.
Any ideas?

P.S. Yes, I’ve searched the forum, that’s how I’ve gotten this far. There are a few people stating that they’ve found a solution, but these are either out dated (with plug-ins that no longer are available) or didn’t post how they achieved it.
Also, yes I’ve looked at three column themes that already provide two sidebars, but I can’t get the same look and feel as with Twenty Thirteen.

How can I fill out the rest of the page and still have the sidebar?
