Uploading banner and logo to Simple Grid Theme

I can’t seem to upload banner or logo to the Simple Grid Theme. Everything else works but this function just will not. I’ve tried png and jpg files; always in the correct sizes specified but it just won’t work. Nor will it add the Social Media Links. Anyone any experience with this?

problem with video responsive/ hover image pluggin

Hi, i have some issues with the plugins in my wordpress page (especificly with the responsive video and hover images). I′m using the “simple greed theme” and i installed in my local host, then I installed the “RESPONSIVE-VIDEO” plugin and it works but the vimeo videos aren′t responsive; Then I installed “HOVER-IMAGES 1.4.1” but it made the editor visual disappear of my pages editor so i had that uninstalled the plugin . I was looking for solutions but i don’t really sure where is the problem; please i really need help.

Menu Order, Simple Grid Theme

Having conquered the double menu problem with help from this forum, I’d now like to change the order that the menu items appear in — that is, I want my blog posts to come before my static pages. Looked at header.php in the editor but I’m baffled.

Any help greatly appreciated!

Hi all! How are you Please I really need help.

I′m using SIMPLE GRID THEME.

I can′t run “wp easy gallery; reflex; etc..”

I′m using these plugins on other site and they work, I changed my theme and they worked.

It seems the problem is comming from the theme.

Could it be a jq conflict? I tried and disabled all my plugins but the gallery “wp easy gallery; reflex; etc..” doesn′t work

Simple Grid theme problems

Hi I was hoping someone could help. I’ve just installed the simple grid theme by dessign.net and followed the installation video to the letter but have had the following complications:

1. Can’t get categories I’ve created to show on the front end menu
2. I’ve created a sample post but it won’t display in the grid format with a text overlay as shown in the demo version of the theme
3. When writing a post I’m not offered the option to allow people to comment.
4. When setting a featured image, I don’t get given the formatting options given in the demo video.

Simple Grid Theme: Portrait view is not properly responsive

I’ve modified some of the code and probably broke it.

Everything but portrait view on my iPad works great. Landscape view, works fine. As soon as I go to portrait, the #main_container gets truncated by about 100 pixels leaving a bunch of whitespace. I’m pretty sure if this were not happening my Shiba Gallery would not overlap my sidebar, but that’s overlapping now (it didn’t before).

Simple Grid Theme Menu Not Working

Hi everyone!

I’ve already renamed the menus as categories_menu and header_menu but whenever I click on a menu item (for example, Photos), the posts under that category doesn’t show up. I also tried renaming it to category_menu though I don’t know if there’s a difference between the two spellings when it comes to its functionality.

I’ve also double-checked that the posts are under the right categories but they still won’t show up.

The pages show up okay, it’s just the posts under specific categories.

Minor issues in Simple Grid theme .. Please help !!

Hi,
I am completely new to wordpress and in the process of making a portfolio website using Simple grid theme(https://www.dessign.net/simplegridtheme/).I really like the theme,however I am facing few minor issues as below
1)When i add more than 12 posts/items in the featured images grid I am not getting the “scroll more arrow” at the bottom as is present in the theme. Thus i m just restricted to 12 posts .Please help how to get the scroll more arrow to view more display more than 12 items/posts.
2) When i add single page then or header menu, the menu/page name gets “repeated twice” in the menu bar. I have no idea why its repeating twice when i add only once.

Please provide your help/guidance to resolve the above issues as I really want to complete my portfolio urgently. Thanks a lot.
