[Plugin: Simple Modal Contact Form] SMCF hyperlink not bring form up

Hi there,

I have installed SMCF correctly and activated it. I have added the function to my page template correctly, I can see the form HTML that has been added to the source when I test it. Unfortunately, when I test it the contact form is not over-layed on the page, I am taken through to my contact fall back page. I have JS enabled and am using the Boilerplate theme.

Has anyone any ideas why it wont work?

Will this only work with template generated links?

I installed, set the URL that should call the modal, and made a link on a page to that URL. Upon clicking, it goes to that page instead of bringing up the modal window.

Simple Modal Contact Form – turn off preload images

Hi,

I would like to turn off preloading the images. For me i think it is totally unneccessary and analysing my site it is the last thing to load taking 1/2sec. I tried deleting the preload section out of smcf.js but that just stopped the whole plugin from working.

SMCF opens randomly

Hi there,

I’ve built a basic site using the F8 lite theme. I’m using the Simple Modal Contact Form (SMCF) which is fantastic.

However, sometimes the SMCF opens when I click on a different navigation link (rather than clicking contact), and sometimes, i have to click on contact twice.

Does anybody know anything about SMCF?
