[Theme: Simplify] Home Page is Missing from WP Admin

Installed WP w/Simplify theme, and was never able to see the Home Page in the Admin section. The home page was visible to browsers, just not listed anywhere on WP admin. I could create new pages (not formatted like the Home page), and could modify CSS and sidebars and see the results on the home page, but could not modify the home page directly.

Presuming that I’d deleted it somehow, I blew away all WP files and the database on the website, and reloaded from scratch. The home page is still not in admin, yet is visible on the website. If I export the entire site, there is no home page in the XML export.

What am I missing? I’ve not seen any other posts that indicate that this is a widespread problem. Where should I look next?

Adding a page with Simplify theme

I’m creating a website (not a blog). I’ve created a home page using the Simplify theme. I’m now trying to create another page with the Simplify theme but when I hit new page I get blog page. How do I create a page under the simplify page? I’m sure it’s a simple step I’m missing. Thanks!

Simplify no longer allows links in Featured Boxes

Since updating on Sept. 15. The links (in html) worked with the previous version of Simplify. Are they taking away things from the free version, or is this just a temporary problem?

Simplify Theme Issue

Hi,

I have just installed the Simplify Theme, However I had not realised that I needed to be running 3.5.1 with this theme, and now I seem to be completely locked out of WordPress. Every section/menu/page I try to load simply meets with a blank white screen.

Ive tried to delete the simplify theme folder from the ftp, but that has not worked.

Any suggestions?

Avatar won't crop in Chrome

I am using WordPress 3.5.1 BuddyPress 1.7beta 1 and the Simplify theme. Cropping avatars works in firefox but not in Chrome. Bug maybe? I hope this can be fixed to work with BuddyPress. Its a lovely theme. Thank you!
