However the single event view is removing the website main sections as navigation, header and footer, and it’s impossible to add it through your addon “Single page template” since there are no options to add any section or HTML code. As a result, as soon as you’re on the Single event details page, there is no way to come back to the site. In your demo it looks fine, that’s why I installed your plugin, but in reality it’s not and the site settings are getting lost.
Elementor Templates automatically added “The Events Calendar – Starter” template, but it’s not applied to the single event neither.
How to fix it ?
Thanks,
Erica
]]>My website is using a Salient Child theme dereived from the Salient theme from ThemeNectar. I have added the code shown under Step 6 at the above link to wp-content/themes/salient-child/functions.php. However, when I try to create a new template, I still don’t see Event post type under “Choose template type”, i.e., I’m still seeing what’s shown under Step 6 and not what’s shown under Step 7. I’ve tried refreshing the page before adding a new template but it doesn’t help.
Am I missing something? The documentation is very sparse. Please help!
]]>For example, see previews of several such EvnTalk pages here.
Has anyone used Elementor Pro or like tool to build a single event template approximating any of the pages available for preview at the above link? Any tips for someone new to this?
Any examples of comprehensive event pages like the previews above integrated with WP Event Manager?
Thanks
]]>When I create an event to test the system, it works well. That is, until I open the published event. I then has a page sidebar showing my widgets, and no way to get rid of it. I’ve removed them in all the Events pages using the page editor and they dont show in the event preview before submitting, but they cannot be removed on published events for some reason as there is no page editor available.
The link provided shows what I mean.
The bottom image shows how it looks in Event Preview. The top one shows the published event, which is distorted and crushed into a small space.
How can I remove this without removing all sidebars from all pages?
]]>I am looking for a way to overwrite the single events title. Currently it shows the name of the event, but I would like to overwrite it by the current month event. For example instead of reading Country Music I would like to read Events in March 2014.
I would really really appreciate any help.
Thank you very much
