singlepic shortcode stopped working

Recently all of the photos that I posted using the “singlepic” shortcode no longer show up as actual images. They now just show up as hyperlinked image file names that open in lightbox. I have tried changing every setting possible to get the images to show up in the post how they used to, with no success. I’m currently stumped. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Cached images are bigger than originals

Hello everybody,

I’ve just noticed that the cached gallery images are almost three times as big as the original ones!
Original image: 629 KB; Cached image: 1600 KB.
This is way too much!!
Can anyone help me with this issue? Is there a way to deactivate the cache?

Hello,

on my site I’m using the shortcode singlepic like [singlepic id=1260 w= h= float=none] to bring up pictures to the blog.

What I want is to open an uploaded pdf with infos when someone clicks on that pic.

Is there an easy way to get this to work?

Singlepic in WP 5.0 with block editor

I am having problems with managing multiple blocks with singlepics in the WP 5 block editor. I followed the documentation but it hasn’t been updated for WP 5 and the block editor yet. Using the following steps I can add a singlepic to a block:

1. Add a Gallery block
2. Click Media Library
3. Click NextGEN Gallery from left panel
4. Select gallery containing desired image
5. Click Show on desired image
6. Select Thumbnail, Full size, or Singlepic as desired
7. Click Insert into Post

This seems to work however if I now want to add a separate block later on with another singlepic, the two singlepics show up together in the first block rather than as separate blocks. The goal would be to be able to manage multiple images within a page, each as individual blocks but this does not seem to be working.

Singlepic border not showing

Hi,

since wp 4.7 my “NextCellent Gallery” images inserted via singlepic function aren’t showing a border anymore. Before I had a nice white border distancing the images from the text but now the border is missing. Any ideas on how to fix this issue?

Single pic blank page

When I want to insert a single image into a post/page b clicking on media upload -> NextGen gallery -> select album -> select picture -> click on insert into..
Then a blank screen (blank media upload) will show up? And the image will not be imported?

I already tried to de activated all the other plugins. but that didn’t solved the problem.

Load entire gallery from single image?

First, I like NGG very much and find it very useful. I have a special challange which I can not solve. Google does not helped me a lot.

Summyrized I would like to embedd single images of a gallery (not only the first one!) in the text of my post, preferably with floating. Clicking on the image should open a lightbox which displays all images of the gallery.

I tried the following …

Variant 1:
[ngg_images gallery_ids=2 display_type=photocrati-nextgen_basic_thumbnails disable_pagination=1 override_thumbnail_settings=1 thumbnail_width=300 thumbnail_height=200 show_slideshow_link=0 images_per_page=1 show_all_in_lightbox=1 float=left]
It show the first image of the selected gallery, floating does not work (works only with singlepic), clicking on it opens a lightbox with all images of the gallery.

Variant 2:
[ngg_images image_ids=24 display_type=photocrati-nextgen_basic_thumbnails disable_pagination=1 override_thumbnail_settings=1 thumbnail_width=300 thumbnail_height=200 show_slideshow_link=0 images_per_page=1 show_all_in_lightbox=1 float=left]
Shows the selected image, floating does not work, clicking on the image opens a lightbox with only this image

Variant 3:

What I would like to have:
I can select an image from my gallery, put it into my post (with floating) and on clicking on the image I get a lightbox with all images of the gallery. How I can achieve this?

Nextgen Gallery compatibility

Hi there!

It seems that Llorix One Lite isn’t fully compatible with the Nextgen Gallery plugin.

With the Llorix One Lite theme and Llorix One Lite Companion plugin activated, it isn’t possible anymore to insert single images from the NextGen galleries (“singlepic”s) via the “add media” button in the visual editor.
It is possible to choose your image, but when you try to insert the image to the page/post nothing happens. No matter if you choose “thumbnail”, “full size” or “singlepic”.

I’ve tested it with all plugins but Nextgen Gallery disabled, doesn’t work, too.

I have NextGen gallery 2.1.43 and I wnat to use singlepic in my post, but WITHOUT hyperlink. Is it possible? How can I do this?
