Site won’t load after php 8 update

Hi everyone so few months back there was an update to php 8.0 and our host forced us to update. So the website now loads a white page saying page can’t load. It’s currently using php 8.2 now. An idea I had was to install wamp and see if i could find php 7.4 to load the website and then try update from there and copy back to the host. Is there maybe an easier way? I have searched this site but I don’t see anything and I’m sure I’m not the only one who has experienced this. Any help is appreciated.

Edit: so i disabled plugins and theme in the phpMyAdmin and now i have a new error. (i replaced the name with hostname) I can post the original error before I made changes if anyone wants?

WooPayments 8.0 Crashed my site

Hello,

After updating WooPayments to the latest version 8.0, my site experienced a critical error and it crashed my site! I had to restore my site to a previous version. I can see others are having the same issue so when will this be fixed?

I updated the latest version today 4.54.0 (MailPoet and MailPoet Premium). It crashed my website and I got the “white screen of death”. Disabled all plugins, and one by one reactivated them but when I try and activate the Mailpoet plugins I get the following message:

Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a?fatal error.

Hello dear WP Forum member,

I run a WordPress page with the UKU Shop Theme by Elma Studio and Woocommerce plugin. As my PHP is 7.4 I wanted to update to 8.2 or at least any higher version. As soon as I update PHP I get a fatal error. Switching back to PHP 7.4 solves the Problem.

I tried deactivating all Plugins – and then the page worked, I re-activated the plugins one by one and as soon as Woocommerce was activated the page had a fatal error.

At the Moment I am running:

WordPress-Version 6.5.5
Aktives Theme: Uku (Version 1.4.0)
Aktuelles Plugin:? (Version )
PHP-Version 7.4

Plugin keeps crashing my site after recent update.

Every time the plugin updates to the most recent version it crashes my site. Below is the info and the error I got. I deactivated the plugin for now, but I need it working. I tried recalling the plugin back and disabling auto updates but it auto updates anyway over time and crashes the site. Please help.

Complete Crash after PHP 8.0 update

I logged into a semi-dormant website today to do some creative work and saw that it wanted me to update it to PHP 8.0m from 7.4. I did not build this site but it has been functioning just fine for some years now. After clicking the button to update the PHP (which I honestly didn’t know what this meant) it said the update might take 10 minutes but then subsequently my site and all login possibilities have disappeared and say that they have a critical error.

I tried to restore the backup (which existed) but it has since not even showed me this area of the admin.

7.6.0 Update caused WordPress Error

After updating WooCommerce to 7.6.0 the site had an error on any page WooCommerce was on.

I would like to revert back to the previous version unless there is another update coming out within the next few days.
