I recently installed WP Optimize and LazyLoad to improve my site speed. I’m now going through my site piece by piece to see if any code was affected. Now my Watu quizzes within my (password protected) Namaste course no longer appear on the pages. I used shortcode to place the quizzes on these pages. Is it possible the optimization eliminated or broke the code? If so, is there a workaround you can recommend?

Please note I use WordPress.com (not .org) but was unable to locate assistance for this issue on that site. Any help or insight you can offer is appreciated. Please send me a direct message if I can provide additional information.

Hi everyone,
Ive been trying to speed up the speed of my site and optimising images with the jetpack plugin. However im not finding success in doing this.

I did check site health and an error may be that there is unused html, css,JS. However im afraid that if I install a clean up plugin that this may affect the page and possibly crash it. (Or adleast having the incorrect settings) I have Autoptimize installed for this but I have not set it up.

Please can you guys give me any tips on increasing the sites speed.

Site showing basic HTML before showing actual page

Hi!

After I installed Autoptimize and hummingbird caching plugin to my site, my site has started showing the basic html page for a micro second before it shows the actual content. The transition is slow enough to notice and it looks like something is wrong with the site.
Now, I’m not sure which plugin or setting is causing this because I installed both the plugins around the same time, so can you please have a look at my site and tell me the cause? When you open the site and navigate to different pages, you would notice a page loading before actual page. Thanks a lot!

Optimizing NextGen gallery thumbnails

Hi I’m currently trying to optimize my website www.top-farm.info

One key problem is optimizing the thumbnails generated by NextGeneration Gallery.

All my larger images are optimized and my pages are receiving scores of 82-90 when tested on developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights. All the pages using NextGeneration Galleries are getting scores of 40 and specifically flagging the thumbnails for optimisation.

Here’s an example of a page and a specific thumbnail:

But this has made no difference to my optimization score – can anyone help?
