I have to find another solution.
It was a surprise that the basic functionality such like exclude by ID was off in free version. It’s weird that I got no notification that the functionality of free version was limited. So months we were using “new” version and didn’t know that something is not correct. It’s not about money but distributing software. You need to be fair with your users.

Sitemap does not respect “order” Page Attributes

I’ve supposedly set the order of my pages via the “order” page attribute. But the plugin doesn’t seem to follow this setting. And there’s no sort option for page order as well.

I tried the sort="menu_order" option. But this doesn’t work. I assume this is to match with the order of items in my Primary Menu right?

Any suggestion is highly appreciated. Thx.

sitemap showing error on line 6 at column 6

I am using all in one seo plugin for many years. But I am not satisfied with it.currenly it is showing error on line 6 at column 6.I use yoast for another blog which gives me zero trouble with sitemap issues. So can I change to yoast from all in one? what will happen to my keyword and meta data? shall I have to enter them again in yoast for the older posts?

more over..my sitemap url shows the following error

This page contains the following errors: error on line 6 at column 6: XML declaration allowed only at the start of the document Below is a rendering of the page up to the first error.

how to fix this issue? and why this appeared. I have tried both all in one and yoast. but both showing same error

Please verify compatibility of Google-Sitemap-Generator plugin with WordPress v. 4.4.2.
There is a message on the plugin for notification that it is not compatible with my current version of WordPress (4.4.2). I do see in the forum that 14 people said it was compatible, but it appears that a good many people had problems with it as well.

Please note – my site is under construction. I would very much like to have this plugin but only if it’s working properly.

Hi I have installed Yoast Plugin on my site on Happy Birthday and i have installed Google XML Sitemaps Plugin by Arne Brachhold. Though I am not using Yoast Sitemaps as i have disabled it but still warning coming to disable the sitemap plugin by Arne. I have clicked the cross button a lot of time but still its not going away. Will it affect my sitemap in any way. Sorry i am new to this.

Customizable Sitemap

I’ve been looking for a customizable sitemap plugin for my WP site but haven’t been able to find what I’m looking for. I’m looking for a clean and simply designed sitemap that allows me to customize which pages and posts show up on the map. I run an ecommerce clothing site and have lots of sales landing pages and thank you pages that display on the sitemap, whereas I don’t want people clicking on those links or even google indexing those pages for that matter. Is it possible to allow some posts to show on the sitemap and some to remain hidden?
