I just cannot figure out how to add Sitemeter to my wordpress blog.
The blog is : https://technomedium.wordpress.com/
The theme is TwentySixteen.
All other threads on this topic are inconclusive, and point to tabs that do not exist (the thread may be 8 years old).
I don’t know how to go to any .php file, and what to do thereafter.
What do I do, step by step?
]]>On my blog i want to add two things that involves adding html code into one or more pages. It′s Creeper, a small and simple “watchdog” that shows what swedish authorities visits my blog, and the other one is the well known Sitemeter. My question is, in what wordpress files do i add this html code? And where in the file? I′m running off my own server so i′ve got full control over all the files.

]]>This worked fine earlier this week, are there any known issues in 2.6, possibly a hacker attack?
Thanks!
]]>The weirdest thing is that it works fine in FireFox, no problems at all. I have tried to disable all plugins, switch back to the default template no luck. I also reset my IE7, with no luck as well. I am not sure what is missing from my WP site that is causing this issue, any ideas?
]]>This was what that was written on SiteMeter’s Site for WordPress,
If the button isn’t there and it instead says “If this file was writable you could edit it.”, you will need to first change the file permissions so that you can modify the file and repeat the steps again.
I am using a customized version of the “Journalized Blue” 1.0.3 theme.
Today, the site stopped displaying the sidebars. The Sitemeter graphic I’m using was in the right sidebar. It showed up in the second post on the page. The page display stopped at the second post.
I switched themes to the default, which displayed OK. I then got another three-column theme and activated it. That displayed OK.
I cut and pasted the Sitemeter code into the new theme’s right sidebar. The new theme failed to display sidebars and added the Sitemeter graphic to the second post, and only showed two posts, just like the other theme.
This had been working fine up until today. Anybody have a clue what’s up?
Currently, I have the “noscript” part of the Sitemeter code on the page. The page displays OK, but there is no Sitemeter graphic showing.
