I have been using this plugin for a while now but a recent update must have broken something as users get the white screen after logging in. Reloading the home page (or any page) takes them there with a logged-in status.
Deactivating Sky Login Redirect solves the problem.
The plugin was originally installed for mobile users who are sent a link to download a newsletter. This plugin saves them having to navigate from their profile page to the download directory each time.
Newsletters are published on the third Sunday of each month so any help before the 16th would be a bonus!

Horizontal content slider (Sky theme)

So basically I want to create the same sliding content on my WP site as this site has: https://elegantthemes.com/preview/Sky/. I also have this similar “content box” in the middle with vertical scrollers (content scrolls within the box).

Is there any plugin ready for that or do I need to just customize it myself? Also a background question, now in that example the background doesn’t slide all the way and it’s just a pattern, however my site has full photo backgrounds and separate backgrounds for separate pages (1900px wide images) so can I make it happen so it will work on different resolutions…? Or is there some other solution available for this? What do you suggest?

too much sky in header and footer

Hi,
I have arclite with wordpress 2.8.5 (www.chessinstructor.net) and my header has a little too much sky, especially since the pager is longer than a browser page on many screens. My footer is even worse. is it an easy fix?

So I am in awe of some of the work I have seen on this forum today and thought I’d do the thing properly and ask for comments on mine. I’ve been working with wordpress for four or five months now and been modifying kubrick alot, but I found Hemingway Reloaded (and also the Blossom one too) and loved it (them) so much I did this:

Haven’t yet cracked getting the child pages of wp_list_pages formatted properly (fourth column in sidebar) and so have gone with bludged hand-coded for now and am looking for ideas on how to do this without getting out of the themes directory.

OrangeSky Theme problem with Categories/Months

Hi everybody,
I am using the theme OrangeSky, I like it a lot and i completely adapted my personal design to it. But now i found out too late that there is a problem:

On the main page of my blog all articles of all categories and of all months show up with the suitable picture/image, that i attached to each article. Now when I click on one of the categories, for example ‘design’, then it only shows the articles (only the text) but not the image! Same happens when i want to see only a specific month, like e.g. February!!

It seems to be a problem of the Theme itself, cause i have tried some other themes in my admin backend, and they show up all pictures that are added to the articles!!

Does anyone have an idea or can help me? Maybe i only have to add some codes, but where? And which code? Please help me!

Hello,

has anyone in the web wide world managed the transition from wp1.2.2. to wp 1.5 with the “simple sky”-template?
I upgraded in this way and sth. went wrong, because the comment and the comment fields disapeared. In the backend everything works fine. Does anyone know how to work with that style in wp 1.5? What do I have to do?
