Dear Support,
Is it possible for a visitor on our website to use Buttonizer to initiate a webcall or web video call using Whatsapp or another service,e.g. Skype?
In other words, is it also possible that our customers can call us pro-actively / initiate a call using whatsapp or another service?
For the avoidance of doubt, we don’t mean a normal, terrestrial phone call.

Cant imagine any website without Chaty, its simple, fast setup, lets you connect to multiple phone, social media, chat providers like Tidio, Tawk, Soho, etc.

I’ve used this plugin on many sites with no issues, however, now on one of the sites when you click the search field it tries to open skype or facetime. No code was added that supports that functionality. Any advice would be appreciated, thanks!

Button Links to Skype instead of regular phone

I’m using a Button that says Schedule a Call and the link starts with “tel:1…”.

But clicking that link goes to Skype, which I don’t want.

How do I make a Button link point to a regular phone line, and not to Skype?

I have been delaying updating my website for too long, because I was scared to do it, as I’m barely computer literate, let alone able to deal with code. Yesterday I took the plunge and bought the paid version of businesso for $39 at 10am, setting the day aside to make a start on the update. By 7pm I had a brand new, fully functioning website! I chose this theme, largely for the beautiful sliding images that you can set up on pages. I had no idea that it would also be able to do quite a lot more customisation that I’m sure will take me some time to work out. The moving slides on the home page and menus were actually quite easy to setup, and within an hour, the site was looking OK – I had a basis and some confidence. I then sent the support a message on Skype and they got back to me very quickly, as I did have a few issues that needed resolving… Minor things like, how to put widgets on a page, change colour of text etc. I’m sure that this would have cost a great deal of money should I have paid someone to do it. The developer was helping me all day on skype calls, building little bits of code to make the website work really well and he was even answering my messages late in the evening in the UK, and he lives in India. He eventually signed off at midnight in India. Today he spent another 30 minutes developing my contact form and he’s gone away now to fix the last couple of little things I want to change. Overall I can’t speak highly enough of the service I’ve received and if you want a slick, good looking website, this is a great theme to use with service that I hadn’t even dreamed would be possible. This theme definitely gets 5 stars!

After trying several plugins, I tried NextChat.
The good and important thing that it’s SEO Friendly plugin, which doesn’t effect negative on “Google PageSpeed”, there’s only one js file (1kb). Not like most other plugins. It’s super easy and Free.

Just it needs one easy thing to fix, which are the missing alt tags from the png images. I’ve added from the codes..

Skype link not working

One of our authors is using Skype has a contact method in the Author Box.
The Skype button shows but it will try to open a web page like https://, instead of opening a chat in Skype.

I’ve tried to change this to something like skype:?call which works in my own page, but it gets deleted if I use this in the profile. How should we use Skype with the author box? Thank you

I have issues setting up the social icon for skype in the header/footer. mail, phone etc. is fine, but skype is not working with the usual skype:skypename?call social link. (clicking on the icon simply reloads my site.)
interesting thing is, that same social link is set up in footer widget and is working just fine.
Any suggestion how to fix this?

using free version.
