Slider background repeating

Hi there, could someone please kindly assist. I’ve used the slideshow background option for a few of my columns and set the background size to contain and the background position to center center with the ken burns effect on. However, the image is repeating (-x), which I don’t want. Is there anyway for me to stop the slider background from repeating without needing to adjust the size or padding.

I spotted a previous post on this question and tried the CSS specified but it didn’t work.

When making a normal slide/banner in this theme, you set the background image. Is it possible to set the background to a video ?

Need black background for the slider images

I would like the white space around slider images to be black.

I don’t know the ideal dimensions for the header slider images, no response to thread. So I just pick large sizes, which doesn’t work out that well. (large images get cut off or centered with less than ideal results – but not a big deal) I have some images that render oddly on Android – you can see white space around them. I prefer the space to be black.

Background behind Image Slider

Hello I love the slider. I will consider pro when I use it on more websites. Is it possible to change the background behind the image slider with CSS or something?

I am using a subtle pattern for my background and a large horizontal cude animation. As the cube spins I see a white background in the space that was occupied by the image. This only appears as it spins. I have attempted applying a black CSS background as well in hopes it was just an issue with the pattern.

Evolve theme slider background

Love Evolve Theme! Having trouble with the bootstrap slider. Vertical gray bars are showing at the sides of the slider no matter what size I make the slider images (they are 1600px x 600px). Layout is set to full width and background for header and slideshow areas is set to white.

I have researched on here and followed a few suggestions from others with similar problems, but no matter what I try, I still have grey bars at the sides of the slider

Hi!

I′m running Virtue theme on 3.9.1WP and i have uploaded 3 images for my home page slider. Autoplay is selected. But i have noticed that if i click in the slider to move to next or previous image the image does change , but the slider stops auto mode.
Is there any way to do same sort of settings to change this. I would like it to change manualy if i click on the slider, but after that (if i wait a few seconds) it would change automaticly again.

I also see that images in slider seem to lose quality.If i see then full screen in Library they look good (same resolution), but in slider they don′t look that good. I used png file. Is it because of file type? I dont think so , because in images out of slider all looks great!

About the backgroud, i would like to put a background image, but i am having truble whit it. What is the ideal size to use as background and what should be the best options to select (repeat,x and y placement , fixed or scroll) to adapt to diferent page sizes?
