Problem with Homepage

I am having trouble with my frontpage. www.tylerlight.com

If you scroll down a bit, on the bottom of the slider, or main picture, you see a cut off “Florida’s Premier Event Lighting Company” with a content box covering half the letters. This should not be there and we cannot find where this is coming from, both the box and the text. We looked under slider under front page widgets, and it is NOT there.

Also, Blog posts under the blog do not show the blog titles unless you hover over a picture. Any way to get this to show the title or preview? I tried under “post and page” and it doesn’t seem to help.

Slider Content Option Gone

Hi, I noticed every new post put the image in the slider. I did have this set to where there was a category called slider, and only those items appeared. I noticed in the customization settings, the area to add category slug for slider content is missing.

“Which category to pull from? – enter the slug of the category you’d like to pull slides from. Leave blank if you’d like to pull from all categories.”

Does anyone know how/why this is gone?

I want to ask about setting>Tetsimonial content>pick content from

In that setting there is option to pick content from Slider content custom field, where could I find that custom field? I want to display testimonial slider with specific content, I have tried to chose option “pick content from post excerpt”, but the slider remain exact content”from content”.

What should I do?

Executive Theme: Slider content disappears on mobile devices

I’m using the Genesis Responsive Slider plugin with the Executive Theme. I’m experiencing the following unexpected behavior on mobile devices:

iPad 3 – Landscape: Slider content does display
iPad 3 – Portrait: Slider content does NOT display

iPhone 3GS – Landscape: Slider content does NOT display
iPhone 3GS – Portrait: Slider content does NOT display

In my Slider Settings, the “Hide Title & Content on Mobile Devices” checkbox is NOT selected.

The StudioPress Executive Theme demo exhibits the same behavior, but I don’t know its plugin settings.

Is this normal behavior, or something that can be corrected?

Use plugin schedule J Query slides

Hi,

I would like to use this plugin to allow displaying of certain slides or whole slide shows in a J Query slider at certain times of the day.

I want the advertising slides or such to show in rotation at a certain hour(s) of the day.

Is this possible? If so can you provide an example I can play with?
I’m using Anything slider, Nivo, and Jcycle sliders.
