I am using Sydney Non-Pro (1.45) with WordPress (5.3.2) and I wonder how to use more the 5 slides at the header-slider.

since i’ve updated the WP and the theme i just get an white screen instead of the slider.
i tried everything (clear cache deactiva an reactivate…)

Our site uses Genesis and I just installed Genesis Custom Headers.

I can’t figure out how to use the Custom Header slider AS my header image…

This is what we have right now – static header image:

I’d like to know how to get the slider in the header, if possible at all.
If thats not possible I want to put it in every page at the top. Can this be done?
Seems as if no theme can get a slider in the header without diving into the PHP, although probably many want it there.

Ps, in Frontier Options you have the text:
Select the categories to show on slider. You can select or deselect items by holding down the CTRL key while clicking. Creating a category specifically for use on the slider may be ideal.

.. but I see no category except: no category. Maybe thats why I cant find the solution?

I’m trying to insert a slider into my header instead of using the header image. Can you please tell me what code needs to be deleted in the header.php so I can insert the php for the slideshow.

I’m using the Word Press Content Slide plug-in, if that matters.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
