Lost my main page slideshow

The problem: I’m in the process of updating the site.

The main page has a slideshow function that was working fine. I trashed the old outdated slides and added new slides the correct size and the slideshow no longer plays–just blank area where the slides should play. If I remove the new slides the windows says there are no slides loaded. If I reload the old or new slides, it doesn’t play.

The theme is theme08 By Template_Help.com

Any thoughts on how I broke it and how to fix it?

Update broke my slideshow!

I believe that I was using version 2.2.12 and found the caption text CSS broken on my slideshow this morning. Was relieved to see the update, till I installed it and now the slideshow doesn’t appear at all.

The area on the right above the “order now” graphic is where the slideshow appears – the div gets created per my code, but, alas, empty.

It looks like all my slideshows are broken.

Everything looks fine on the back end, just no slideshow appearing and I’m hoping that once this bug’s fixed I also don’t have to deal with broken text CSS too?

Slideshow Broken in WP 3.6

Hi there!

I’m using Portfolio Slideshow 1.5.1, and ever since I updated my WordPress to v3.6 the slideshow on my website’s front page is displaying strange behavior.

It starts off showing the first few images normally, then suddenly it shows only a top sliver of each image as if the images have been cropped. Then it sporadically alternates back to normal images and back to the funky display again.

This only started happening after the WordPress update and there are no Javascript errors.

I’d appreciate your urgent help with this issue.

[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery Optimizer] Slideshow not working – optimizer premium

Using Premium version – slideshow is not working, only loader image is displayed, firebug shows gallery images are not listed.

If I deactivate the optimizer plugin the slideshow works fine.

in my theme:

I have reviewed all related topics – checked that there is more than one image in the gallery containing the slideshow, made sure the ‘Activate Permalinks (ngg options)is not checked.

Really like the plugin but NEED the slideshow – thanks!
