This Theme has no support anymore. With each new version – its gets a little quirkier.
Over the past 2 years I have had to change the way I deal with the 2 HOME pages.The standard methods no longer work. i.e.: exclude page, parent page …

With the latest update I got only 1 HOME in my navigation and NONE of my other pages showed up in the navigation. Not even with a Custom menu

Here is the question:

Is there any backlash from the search engines in doing this? Somewhere I seem to remember being told the Search Engines need to “see” the word HOME???

Only three slides with Slidette Theme

So I recently installed the Slidette Green theme on my site, rexdagostino.com, and only three of the possible five slides shows up in my slide show. I have 5 posts that are labeled correctly as to be used for the slideshow. Without all five slides showing, I have an awkward blank section for a good amount of time. Please help.

slider speed and cut off words in right column

My first question has already been asked previously but currently has no answer / solution: How can you slow down the slide show

My bigger issue is I have words being cut off on the RIGHT Column. I have already fixed the same issue on the main (LEFT) column (as answered below in “Evaluation and 1 Tech problem”), but I have not found a solution for the right column.

I hope someone has found the answers, as this really is one very nice template!

slidette not working & shuts me out of wordpress

Hello out-there,

I really like this theme and have ‘successfully downloaded’ it to my wordpress dashboard. After I activate it & go to see the site in Firefox I receive the following message:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘{‘ in /home/seminarj/public_html/wp-content/themes/slidette/functions.php on line 146

Each time I have to unload the theme from word press in my FTP as it completely shuts me out of the dashboard to remove the theme.

Any suggestions on how I can make this site work? As I really like the style…

Hi,
I have the Slidett theme from https://www.appchain.com/slidette/ and I am tying to remove the slide show portion from just one page, but not all. How could I do this? This site is still being developed, so theres no link to it yet.

Evaluation and 1 Tech problem

Overall the theme is great and most of the problems you see in the comment section of the designers sight can be fixed by tinkering around with it. The only problem that I haven’t been able to fix is that it cuts of some of the wording on the right side of any posts. My CSS skills are not at a level to fix it myself without some serious research to make sure I don’t do more damage then good.

Integration with NextGEN Gallery

Hello Slidette Team,

I’m wondering how hard it would be to make it so that all the images on the theme’s homepage are integrated with the NextGEN Galley listed in the post. Almost all my posts have galleries full of images but none of them can be used because they are incompatible with your theme.
