First time using UM and posting.
I installed the plugin and in the dashboard it shows 570 members. It found them from my SMF forum database.
However, it only took 570 of the 1600 members.
How can I get them all to populate?
I’d like to use a bridge: SMF2WP or some other way to either a)bridge the SMF login so they can see a few web pages, or b) simply move the member/password list into UM so they can log in directly to the web pages.
Very new; any help is appreciated.
]]>Recently I have done some updates on both the SMS forum and my WordPress, including adding some new plugins, and it seems that since then all the widgets have an error in producing the RSS feed from the forum. I don’t get any error reports in the backend, but I do on the website itself:
RSS Error: A feed could not be found. A feed with an invalid mime type may fall victim to this error, or SimplePie was unable to auto-discover it.. Use force_feed() if you are certain this URL is a real feed.
The address that is mentioned as the feed that can not be found, actually opens fine when you paste it in a web browser, and had been working in the plugin fine before.
Is this to do with some other new plugin or theme blocking something, or maybe my SMF forum got blacklisted by WordPress or my host?
]]>From here I cannot find ANY way to actually approve the message. Nor does the message ever get approved, no matter what I do.
The error log, oddly enough, does not show me any errors when this happens. I can go into the message and click on Attachments and other options, and there I see “Approve this post,” but when I do this, it does not approve the post.
Any thoughts? Do I need to remove CleanTalk, approve the message, and reinstall? (This strikes me as a bad idea.)
]]>The menu doesn’t even show other than a small tab where it was – the error message when I click the tab is:
The default theme’s directory is wrong, please correct it by clicking this text.
WHen I click that text I get: securityDisable_why
I am NOT a tech. What do I do about this? This can be a serious issue real fast – that’s my forum!!
]]>I was helped by the SMF FAQ (https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/social-media-feather/faq/) re: “How do I change the Twitter button to twit the title of the post instead of the message “Hey, check this out”?”, but I was wondering if there is a guide on how to do the same with other services?
When I share an individual blog post using the Facebook Share button, it shares the metacontent for the whole site, not the post title. Same when I share an individual blog post using the Google Plus Share button.
I was successful in making Twitter share the blog post title (as per the FAQ), but other threads seem to imply I need an ‘OpenGraph” plugin to make Facebook share the post title, instead of the site title.
Isn’t there a similar HTML revision to the Share URLS for Facebook and Google Plus to achieve the same as this does on Twitter? (https://twitter.com/share?url=%%url%%&text=%%title%%)

Grateful for this plugin, and your good work.
]]>I have tried the method of jjsbetteroff which modify the CSS. But it doesn’t only change the title color it also change the color of topic title. All I want just to change color to the title.
Can you guide me which part of the code I should modify?
Thank you

]]>So if someone want to make a comment on the WordPress site, they need to login on SMF forum first to do so.
Does anyone know of a current mod for WordPress that will do this?
]]>When I decided to move it over to WordPress (bbpress) I realized the guest accounts weren’t migrated properly.
I’ve tried few fiverr freelancers without success and would like to ask if there’s any tips for hacks to this plugin so I can alter some code and have my forum migrated without issues.
I already have an active support thread at https://bbpress.org/forums/topic/how-to-set-all-users-to-anonymous-after-migrating-from-smf but decided to check over here if there are some persons with tips concerning this issue.
Thanks a lot.
]]>I have a little problem to display ALL the boards – topicmessages from my SMF to WP. I have only 2 post, they are public, the rest of the post are vissible after login, in smf
But, if I add a username – password for smf, I created a special account for this), the feed can′t login in, and sow still only those 2 public messages. Is there a way to display the “member” posts aswel? Or some of them?
Also, I get this error:
Call to a member function uri() on a non-object in /domain.com/wp-content/plugins/feedwordpress/admin-ui.php on line 68
Can someone help me to solve this problem?
Thanks!
