We have the plugin running on pages such as: https://bwpurpose.org/portfolio/schools/community-charter-school-of-paterson/ &
the photos are now not showing. I am not sure if this happened after the 2/9 update but it had to be recently as they were showing.

The shortcode format we have always been using is: [smoothgallery flickrusername=(username) flickrphotoset=(photoset) iframe=1 timed=true delay=6000]

Any ideas on what the issue could be?

Using Multiple Galleries with Smooth Gallery Replacement

Is there a way to use the plugin Multiple Galleries successfully with the plugin Smooth Gallery Replacement? I want to display 2 different galleries on a ‘single post‘(https://www.meksin.com/installations/flossing-the-lot-new-haven-ct-2012-4/) while still maintaining the Smooth Gallery layout. But I have errors when I try to use these plugins together.

When both activated, I am able to have multiple running galleries in a post but they are of the same images. This is despite the fact that the html lists separate image links for each gallery.

I was able to create 2 different galleries with only Smooth Gallery deactivated, but could not when I deactivated just Multiple Galleries.

Is there a way to make Smooth sliders “Custom Thumbnail Image(url)” to work with qtranslate, so we could set different images for different languages.

Using tags like [:en]imgage URL[:de]imgage URL[:fr]imgage URL

Smooth gallery link an image to page

Hi,

Can anyone tell me how to link an image to a specific page in either smooth gallery or a Nextgen slideshow?

In smooth gallery you have the option to embed a link, this only seems to link to the image. I have read that you can change the link in the media > library but when I look at this my gallery is not in the library and there is no option to edit links on images that are in there.

Look forward to hearing any ideas!

I have built a Web site in WordPress using Nextgen SmoothGallery to display over 300 galleries! There are over 9000 images and now the galleries do not display. Is there any way to make SmoothGallery work with WP 3.2.1? If not, is there any way to Find and Replace all the code for Smooth Gallery to make it just a Nextgen gallery?

How can I show a gallery set with NextGen Smooth Gallery’s plugin for WordPress? Smooth Gallery shows that it’s possible on their website:

Although, I can’t find the option for it in the admin area and am having a hard time finding info on it in the forums.

If it can’t be done through wordpress, is there another option out there that doesn’t use flash? I don’t want to place a bunch of galleries side-by-side, but have them accessible all in the 1 slideshow.

I am currently using the Mamma Press theme. (www.melaniemurphy.co.uk)

On that theme smooth gallery is included in theme. Originally it was on a posts but I have now managed to get it on a page.

In the HTMl which is below it doesn’t allow me to give each page different text on the image information panal or when the cursor is on the picture.

If the above code is correct, where should I be placing it within the code on my site? Also, where is the best place to obtain what i should be putting in for img src?

I have been struggling with this for some time and have tried so many things but to no avail.

Hi –

I’m using Smooth Gallery for NGG.

If I turn on “Embed links” in Smooth Gallery options, a click will open the image file in a new browser window. I’d like it to open the gallery page (in a new window). I don’t think this is a built-in option.

Has anyone done this? Any hint?

Hi, I’m using Smoothgallery addon for NextGen, and my images get cropped within the 400×300 slideshow size I set. Is there a way I could have them in full size, keeping height/width ratio, just adding black borders where need?

smooth gallery does not work in IE

I am trying to find a solution to why the gallery on my site wont work with IE. It works fine in all other browsers, I have spent endless hours trolling the net and have been unable to find a solution. Any assistance here will be really appreciated. To view my site click here.
