Why dont the featured or image from the post show up when I “share” the post on facebook (with sociable plugin by blogplay)?

How can I disable Twitter from the MORE Group?

The long load times are not coming from our server, the load and memory usage are very low and the content from our site loads quickly. The main delay seems to be when it tries to get content from cdn.api.twitter.com. This never pulls the content so the page loads until the request times out for the twitter information. I’ve seen this happen if the site is using twitter’s API version 1, which was discontinued recently: https://dev.twitter.com/blog/api-v1-retirement-final-dates

I’m trying to disable anything twitter related in the Plugin.

How can I disable Twitter from the MORE Group.

Sociable using Shortcode on Home.php

I am using Sociable plugin on my home.php under my theme. I added this to the code and it works fine. The problem is what it sends to facebook is not the default url but instead it sends the first permalink from the first post in the list. Below is what it sends

Does anyone know why it would not send the base url?

Sociable crashes IE8 with Graphene theme

Hi there,

when using the sociable plugin with theme “Graphene”, it causes IE8 to crash (unrecoverable) when used with the Graphen theme.

If I used a different theme, or disabled the “Sociable” plugin, the site worked fine.

I posted over on the support for the graphene theme too, as it seems to be the combination of sociable with graphene which has a problem.

I tried all the latest updates – issue remains the same.

For now, I have kept the graphene theme, and use a different plugin for the social media / networking side.

Hopefully you can find the issue between the graphene theme and this plugin.

For me, I couldn’t wait for support, so my only option was to use a different plugin.

Sociable Plugin Update – settings won't save

All,

The latest plugin update from sociable now won’t allow me to update my settings. I’m simply trying to change the icon sizes and save changes, however when I preview my site the sociable icons are stuck on the default sizes…help!
