Social Icons Block – unable to change icon background colour

In the Social Icons Block documentation, under Block settings -> Color settings, it appears possible to change the color of the individual icons, as well as the individual icons background colour.

However, when editing a template with the social icons block, it appears only the icon color can be changed.

The background color in the settings changes the color for the entire social icons block, but not the individual icons.

Clicking on the individual icons does not offer an colour setting options.

This is using WordPress 6.2.2 and Gutengerg plugin is not installed.

Is this an error in the documentation, or an error on the editor?

Is there a way I can add the TikTok logo via CSS in the social media footer near “proudly powered by WordPress”, in the lower part of the page? Can’t find one that actually works.

Twenty Twenty-Three Theme doesn’t have settings to configure Social Media core block.

Appearance / Menu doesn’t exist.

How can I add links to Social Media block like Facebook, … etc.?
