URL links not working on mobile devices?

A few days ago, I discovered that my Soliloquy slider links are not working, but ONLY on mobile devices. The desktop works fine. I’m currently using Soliloquy v2.6.8 with the CSS, Defaults, and Protection Addons. I reached out to the Soliloquy developers, but I haven’t heard back. Any help and/or advice is much appreciated.

Slider not showing – just static images

Hi there,

I have a problem with adding sliders in my website. When I put the shortcode in any page, the slider won’t show. It shows just the static images I update to the slider but like a gallery style. (see the last 5 images in the page)

It’s happening everywhere in my site but the homepage (where the theme develloper added a special widget to do so)

Is there any way to solve it?

A client of mine reached out earlier today as the Publish module was gone on the Soliloquy Slider editor. I pinpointed the issue to the LH Archived Post Status plugin which they installed a few months ago. Thoughts? Thanks!

Installation with ThemeCo

I have a WordPress Theme called X-Pro from ThemeCo. Soliloquy Slider is an add-on to the Theme and as such, does not have a unique Soliloquy license. I assume this disqualifies me for any support from Soliloquy?

At any rate, I created a simple 5-slide carousel and used the short code to display the slider. No matter what settings I use, I get the slider at the top, and then below that is all 5 images sitting one on top of the other as a vertical list of still images. It makes no sense to me.

Please note, the link I provided only shows the slider on a mobile display, as there are different views for Desktop vs Mobile displays. Also, it takes a long time before the sliding portion of the display at the top appears. A full 15 seconds, or so.

UPDATE:
Issue resolved. Disabling Jetpack fixed the issue. There must be a bug/conflict with Jetpack. It’d be nice if this were resolved, as I like to keep Jetpack on my sites.

The slider covers all the functions of a modern WordPress site, very easy to use, runs stable and is quite handsome. An indispensable tool for every site owner.

I like this plugin. I kind of wish it had a visual editor to create HTML sliders. Overall very nice and efficient.

With other plugins and themes transition to 5.6 and block editor has encountered a few hitches,Soliloquy very smooth. No issues detected with Enable jQuery Migrate Helper. Support questions (ie not displaying image caption) quickly resolved (additional CSS).Wonderful clean minimalistic slider, ty devs !

Soliloquy Lite Slider Not Displaying on WP 5.6 and Autoptimize 2.8.0

I just upgraded a site to WordPress 5.6 with Autoptimize 2.8.0 and “Aggregate all linked JS-files to have them loaded non-render blocking” checked.

Soliloquy Lite sliders don’t load, and I get a javascript error, “Uncaught TypeError: e.indexOf is not a function at S.fn.init.S.fn.load (jquery.min.js?ver=3.5.1:2) at (index):192”

Adding /wp-content/plugins/soliloquy-lite/assets/js/min/soliloquy-min.js to the list of scripts excluded from Autoptimize doesn’t fix the error.

A workaround is to disable “Aggregate all linked JS-files…”, in which case the error is gone and the Soliloquy sliders load just fine, but obviously it would be ideal to be able to aggregate all the JS files.

I’m not sure if this is a Soliloquy issue or an Autoptimize issue, so I will mention this in the Soliloquy support forum as well.
