Hi there,

I startet using this plugin a few days ago. It’s amazing how good spam is identified. Great tool! I get lots of fake-registrations anyway. Looking in the wordpress backend, they are identified as spam correctly. I activated the “block spam” option, but still get all this registrations in my postbox.

It is a woocommerce registration with additional fields / functions by the “B2B Market”-plugin.

Any Idea how to get rid of the fake registrations?

reCaptcha V3 doesnt seem to block spam

After switching from V2 to V3 and 5.0 to 5.1 our site is now getting flooded with spam contact form messages from a verity of IP address.

Can we please have a way to revert to V2 until V3 can be fixed to block spam?

I upgraded contact form 7 to version 7.5.1 and found that this version only works with Recaptcha V3. I re-registered ReCaptcha V3 with Google and got the keys. After I fill in the form integration, it looks like this feature is not working at all. I tried sending messages and none of the Recaptcha appeared. Then my mailbox began to be flooded with spam, things that never happened before when I was still using Recaptcha V2.

Is there a way to use Recaptcha V2 instead V3, on new version of Contact Form 7?

looks like after updateing to wordpress 5, recapcha functions in Contact Form 7 doesn’t work anymore; the field doesn’t show in the front-end but also when configuring a form, I don’t see the button of adding the recaptha field anymore

I put it in the form with following syntax
reCAPTCHA
[recaptcha]

please help me out

Note the integration with google is done.

Sites receiving tones of spam with recaptcha V3

Hi,
We have contact form 7 on about 45 sites that updated to the latest version. we noticed a few days ago that recaptcha 2 had been removed and we reset all sites yesterday with re captcha V3 but this is not stopping the spam as shown on other posts.

We have since added a small quiz with questions such as what is 7 + 5 but it seems this is not stopping the spam either.

Could you please clarify what has to be done
