Issue with accented letters in search results

Hello,

I’m experiencing an issue with accented letters using the Advanced Woo Search plugin. Specifically, I have a product named “Completo Renèe”.

Here’s the problem:

If I search for “Completo Ren”, the product does not appear in the search results.
If I search for just “Ren”, the product does show up, but the keyword is not highlighted in bold as expected.

It seems like the search has trouble matching words that contain accented letters. Could you please check this issue? You can test it directly on my site: solipsiste.it.

Product import doesn’t like special characters

Hi,
I’m trying to import products from a CSV file, but it display any special characters as ?, whether I write it HTML code or plain, for instance: ° or ° turn into ? after import. Happens both in the regular description field or custom meta fields (see Storage in the link I’m sharing).
Is there something I should configure in the CSV file for it to work? What’s the appropriate behaviour?

Tablepress is an awesome plugin. It solved our problem because we had a lot of tables to insert in our web site and we were not finding what we wanted. When I first used it, I was able to insert tables and show then in the way that we wanted. Another special thing is that you can easily add buttons for the users be able to download the tables in the CSV, PDF formats (our case) and also to print the tables. Another point to highlight is the possibility to order the itens in the table by ascending or descending order of dates.

Special characters in filters

Hi,

I have installed the plugin and noticed that the filters do not work if their names contains any special characters except letters and dashes.

Any way to solve this issue so that filter names can include characters like +, \, |, etc.?

Fix [_post_title] Special mail tag

I figure out how to display the post title on installations where [_post_title] Special mail tag not work.

– In Form tab add: [post_title]
– In Email tab add: About Product: [post-title]

Note that the first tag is written with underscore and the second in middle dash.
