Search only effects active page not entire site.

I have been tearing my splendio theme apart trying to fix the Search box. It works great on the main page, but if you try to do a site search from any post like: https://www.honestcanadian.com/updating-device-drivers/ the search box returns a 404. Please hellp.

Password Protection in Splendio Broken

I’m using the free Splendio theme by Design Disease for a pre-school’s website. They want a password-protected page but the password protection in Splendio is sending me to a WP admin login page. I turned off all plug-ins and that did not solve the problem. I switched the theme to Twenty Twelve and that solved the problem. I also tried Twenty Eleven and the password worked correctly there as well. I don’t know where to look to find the piece of code that is broken. I searched the functions.php file and did not find any password-related code, but I may have missed it. Splendio is not in the theme extension section of this forum, but it’s built on Twenty Ten if that is helpful. My knowledge of php is limited but I can follow instructions. Thanks for your help.

Also remove the RSS & Twitter buttons from top right under search box? Happy to have Facebook & Share buttons remain.

Change "Home" menu in Splendio

I’ve tried solutions for other themes and I’ve looked for the templates of header.php, but I couldn’t find something that could change this.

Installed Splendio theme and site disappeared

I’m helping a colleague who’s had his site up for a while. After activating the Splendio theme, the WP address (https://doingmediaethics.com/wp/) turned up a 404 error and the site address (https://doingmediaethics.com) turned up an internal server error.

I’m still able to log in to admin, so I changed theme to Twenty Eleven and then deleted Splendio. I then backed up WP content and reinstalled WP 3.3.2 through admin. Still nothing.

I appreciate any help you can give me.

[Theme: Splendio] sidebar formatting not behaving

On selected pages of my Splendio-themed site, I have specified the format “one column, no sidebar.” This instruction is being ignored on all pages where I’ve used it. It just always uses the default format. Does anyone has a thought as to how to fix that?

Secondly, on those pages where I do want to display the sidebar, I’m using a menu of my static pages in the “Sidebar Widget Area”. But I’m not getting any hierarchical indenting in the menu, as I did in my prototype using this theme on wordpress.com. I should have a 2-level hierarchy, based on the “Parent” and “Order” parameters. It’s all just a uniform list, which is tough to read.

[Theme: Splendio] Top menu wrapping

I’d love to know where to find the formatting for the top menu on Splendio. I don’t like the way it wraps, and would rather have it run straight across above the banner, (and yes there’s room for this, now that I’ve edited out the search and syndication widgets that were in the way). If you’ve encountered something like this yourself, please just let me know which file to edit! I can’t seem to find it yet.
