Is it possible to pass the headline, description, image and goal value to the shortcode as parameters? I’m exploring using GiveWP to do allow website visitors to donate to the medical needs of specific animals that are stored in an external management system (we’re using PetPoint). Seeking a way to use GiveWP without having to replicate all the data.

This plugin has great features but basically if you want anything that’s actually really useful, you have to pay for it. It feels like the only thing free is the install.

I’m hitchhiking to China and would like to fundraise using a ‘sponsor me per lift’ feature.

1. Is there a donation/sponsorship that allows people to sponsor depending on a variable (number of lifts)? I.e. ￡1 per lift.

2. Even better, is there one that allows a cap, i.e. ￡1 per lift up to 100 lifts?

Alternatively, maybe there is a ‘pledge’ plugin that allows me to collect pledges, but not actually donations, of this sort?

Hi,

I am looking for a “Sponsor a Runner” type plugin. What I am looking to create is a list of team names and a way to display the amount of donations that team has collected via PayPal.

I could do the whole thing manually (change the amounts) however there are at least 20 teams (or more). I’ve tried using Oliometer and Personal Fundraiser but they don’t quite do what I am looking for.

All the of funds collected will go to the same Paypal account (It is all for the same cause). So I need to find a away to differentiate the team donations from one another. I could make 20 different donation buttons in PayPal with different IDs. So far I haven’t found a plugin that can extract that information from PayPal using button IDs.

Anyone have any ideas? I’m ok with using multiple plugins to create the desired effect. I thought what I wanted to do was simple (more over, that someone had done something like this before) turns out, not so much.

How could this plugin be used to on a website to sponsor individuals who are walking/running/etc for a cause? I figured out how to setup the cause and the campaign, but how would I setup the indication of the individual runner, etc. or would each person have to setup their own campaign? (there are over 300 each time for this annual event)
