I saw this suggested answer, but would like to avoid having anything on my server at 0777. Any other ideas?

]]>My setup:
1. I have YASR shortcodes at the top of posts to show the author rating (auto-insert isn’t enabled)
2. Show overall rating in archive page is Yes
3. All visitor votes are disabled
If I use Special Recent Posts to display posts, the stars show up, but they’re all grey. I have enabled shortcode rendering in the SRP plugin.
I’m not sure where the compatibility issue lies – with SRP or YASR. The YASR code shows up, but the value for ‘ariavaluenow’ is ‘0’ when it should be the value for the rating. I have the YASR shortcode for displaying the highest rated products in a sidebar and that works fine. I don’t see any javascript errors so I’m kinda stumped. I’m hoping you might have some insight on this.
I don’t have a link to the site, as it’s hidden and you need admin access to view it.
I *do* have a screenshot of what I’m referring to:

]]>I’ve recently updated all of the plugins on WordPress for the company website, most of which went smoothly and haven’t made any substantial changes except one that has changed the newsfeed.
Before the update the title font of each piece of news in the feed (latest news on the right hand side) was black with no box around it but now the titles are highlighted in a dark blue/black colour and the font is grey.
Can someone point me in the right direction please?
Thanks.

I’ve been trying this plugin out and I like it so far but it does not do the primary thing I want to use it for- displaying recent content of ANY post type within selected posts/pages.
I’m using this shortcode for recent posts filtered by category and it works fine:
[srp post_limit='10' show_all_posts='yes' ext_shortcodes_compatibility='yes' post_content_length='250' post_content_length_mode='chars' wp_filters_enabled='yes' widget_title_header='H2' category_include='15' widget_title='Recent Business Posts']
I tried a variation of that for a custom post type with no success:
[srp post_limit=’10’ show_all_posts=’yes’ ext_shortcodes_compatibility=’yes’ post_content_length=’250′ post_content_length_mode=’chars’ wp_filters_enabled=’yes’ widget_title_header=’H2′ custom_post_type=’topic’ category_include=’98’ widget_title=’Recent Business Forum Topics’]
I’ve narrowed it down to the filtering by category not working.
This works:
[srp custom_post_type=’topic’]
This doesn’t work:
[srp custom_post_type=’topic’ category_include=’98’]
This works:
[srp custom_post_type=’glossary’]
This doesn’t work:
[srp custom_post_type=’topic’ category_include=’77’]
and so on….
I can filter by regular post categories just fine, but not custom post type categories. I’ve verified that the category #s I’m using are correct and that that there is content within those categories with the specified custom_post_type defined in the shortcode tags above.
Am I missing something here?

]]>I am using SRP (Special Recent Posts) free plugin on a multisite. I create a clean site and activate the plugin. That make this error on the website:
Warning: call_user_func_array() [function.call-user-func-array]: First argument is expected to be a valid callback, ‘srp_wp_head’ was given in /home2/*/public_html/wp-includes/plugin.php on line 505
Activating the plugin in the main site creates another error:
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare tweakjp_cust_credit() (previously declared in /home2/*/public_html/functions.php:6) in /home2/*/public_html/wp-content/themes/twentyfourteen-child/functions.php on line 7
What’s the problem? Thank you so much.

]]>thx again for this wonderful plugin. After updating to the free edition I have some css trouble I cannot figure out on my own with the post titles. The spacing is too much for me. Before the update it looked like this:
https://cl.ly/image/1i2s201e352j
Now the output looks like this (I have already removed the border-bottom):
https://cl.ly/image/0a221Q2L1s32
I would think it could have to do with the “h4.srp-post-title”? Is that right and what do I have to change within the css?
Thanks for any help!
