ssl test failed and certificate date issue

Hi WordPress team,

Thank you for providing this support department for all kinds of wordpress issues.

I’m running a small pest control site on wordpress and recently it got hacked and camed red ssl warning screen.

my site url is https://jayspestcontrol.com
after testing with digicert and ssl tests online, I camed to know that my ssl had a venerability that compromised my site.

I don’t know how to fix ssl problem as it was appearing secured on the browser but unsecured on some browsers.

please help me fix the problem. thank you.

Https error in my Settings-> General section

I made an error in my Settings->General section.

In the domain box in General, I accidentally typed https:// instead of https://.

The Certificate was not installed so this of course is not working, and anytime I try to log in to my website backoffice, or even try to look at my website, I get an error that says “This site cannot be reached”.

How am I supposed to be able to fix this error if I cannot log in to my back office?

Category pages don’t appear after SSL

I switched to SSL using Really Simple SSL. Since the change (possibly before, but only noticing now), when we click on the NAV on the home page that should take us to categories, nothing appears on the category pages. My posts show that there are posts in those categories but nada.

Is there someplace I can look? I tried clean up SSL and such but none worked.

I’m not a coder but I’m not afraid to change codes and do take directions well.

Hi there.

I was trying to change my address from HTTP to https in my general settings.
Now I am trying to access to my admin site on WordPress and I got the message 404 the requested URL cannot be founded.
Also if I try to go to the main website appears “SORRY! If you are the owner of this website, please contact your hosting provider: [email protected]. It is possible you have reached this page”. So anyway, I can′t get any access at all to my wp.

Can any of you please help me with this?

Images not showing on front end after SSL

Hi, Since adding a SSL the images for the latest events are not appearing on the front end, yet all visible in the Sunshine gallery, any ideas why

I run WP with the CommentPress plugin. I have a free “Let’s Encrypt SSL” certificate installed. Yet, any attempt at connecting to my WP site via https reverts to http. The apparent culprit is “mixed content”. I have examined user accessible templates, style sheets and images. None contains an explicit http call. One of the test plugins claimed it was due to a “reverse proxy”, so I threw out DreamFlare.
In Chrome, I get : “NET::ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID”.
Is the problem in the server, the proxy, the SSL certificate, WordPress, CommentPress, in the content, or somewhere else?
