I’m using PowerPress. I am suddenly receiving an error when I attempt to add a podcast to a blog post: cURL error 35: error:14077410:SSL routines:SSL23_GET_SERVER_HELLO:sslv3 alert handshake failure. According to Siteground engineers, they recommend “contacting the plugin developer and ask them to use TLSv1.2 encryption protocol instead of SSLv3.” Any thoughts on this?

Curl SSL3 error on Ubuntu 18.04

In site health i have two critical issues with REST API and loopback request.

Error code: cURL error 35: error:1408F10B:SSL routines:ssl3_get_record:wrong version number (http_request_failed)
My host os is Ubuntu 18.04, PHP7.4-curl module with OpenSSL 1.1.1g

I have been unable to find a soultion to the problem and the hint i am getting from the error code is that WP is insisting on using the PHP-curl function with SSL3 encription.
What i have been able to diagnose is that the newest OpenSSL doesnt support SSL2 and SSL3 just TLS. Since WP insists on SSL3 via the curl_setopt() function i guess there is no way for this error to be solved.

Is it possible to set up WP to use TLS encryption for curl?

Uso do Protocolo SSL3

Recebi uma mensagem do MercadoPago dizendo que a partir do dia 7/Abril eles ir?o desativar o protocolo SSL3. Ent?o eles pedem para atualizar o SDK ou deixar de usar o SSL3.

Minha dúvida é se nesse plugin o CURL esta for?ando o SSL3?

N?o entendo muito de php.
Agrade?o uma orienta??o nesse sentido.

No modo PRODU??O, funciona OK

Eu tirei a linha 163 do class-wc-cielo-api.php
CURL_SETOP($handle, CURLOPT_SSLVERSION,3)
e resolveu a problema.

Por algum motivo, o modo teste n?o aceita for?ar o SSL3.

Pode ser porque estou usando o mais novo vers?o de woocommerce?
WP 4.1
WC 2.2.10
Cielo 3.1.1

Aparte de isso, pare?e que tudo funciona OK.
