Pod Player not working on my site

Podcastin set up my home page for me. The SSP player is not working. I’m not 100% sure the RSS feed was set up correctly. The SSP is Version 3.3.1. My podcast is hosted through ACAST, The RSS feed is: https://feeds.acast.com/public/shows/5cd20fd8d199bd643054a794. Also, should it automatically pull in each episode or will I need to do this manually? I also noticed the listing for each episode is not dynamically pulling in content. Any help is appreciated.

SSP can’t read my posts as episodes

Importing my feed with SSP won’t work as I will need to import every week. So I’m using a different plugin for that. The issue is SSP won’t read my posts as podcast episodes. Is there any way to fix that?

Hi to everyone! I’m migrating a full website from WordPress.com hosting to another hosting… But this website has a lot of podcasts and I’m checking how to keep the same settings for the podcasts in the new hosting.

it appears that WordPress.com has the special feature tu configure and create podcasts really easily.

in a self hosted service using WordPress basic version there is no podcast settings unless you install a specific plugin for podcasting..

im afraid that using any of this plugins will change the way podcast platforms already identify his podcast..

so does anyone has migrated from WordPress.com to a self hosting service with a lot of podcast episodes?

I cleared cache, I deactivated everything related to cache, and nothing.

I’ve set up this role to enable password protection:

RewriteRule .* – [E=HTTP_AUTHORIZATION:%{HTTP:Authorization}]

but I don’t see the message disappear (It looks like your server has FastCGI enabled, which will prevent the feed password protection feature from working. You can fix this by following this quick guide.)
and when I try to log in with the user/password I cannot get in.

What should I do?

each day I have multiple audio files/episodes for a podcast channel,
e.g.

it seems in every post, I can only add ONE audio link to podcasting URL.

One feed for all languages

Hi all, hope you guys can help me here. I am using the latest version of ssp with the latest version of wp together with wpml for multilanguage support. The site runs in english and german. So the podcasts will. My problem is, that i need one feed that includes all podcasts and not only the german or the english ones. At the moment we have one first podcast that is english and the feed is domain.com/en/feed/podcast. Hope you guys can help.

I just got this pod casting app. I like it. I have posted to my page… but when I went to look at the feed… it wasn’t there.

When I insert a youtube link in the video upload box, SSP changes the link to a site-specific link – which doesn’t allow WordPress to render the link and show a preview. Is there a way to override this or is the video podcast area only for actual video files?
