I’ve set WP_DEBUG
and WP_SCRIPT_DEBUG
but found nothing logged. I’ve checked with a hard-coded error_log
that something would be logged – nothing is.
If I try to re-import the exported file into localhost
it seems like it would work. It gets as far as prompting me to confirm I want to overwrite data. But on the new remote site, it doesn’t even get that far.
What could be going wrong, and how can I diagnose the problem?
]]>After 6 hours of banging my head against the keyboard and several Tylenol’s I have figured this out.
You need to disable Media library assistant plugin if you have it. As soon as I did that, SVG’s upload no problem.
To the Elementor team, please get on this, so there’s not conflict between Media Library Assistant and Elementor.
You’re welcome I hope this saves someone else the headache.
The website that I’m working on (main page is lionbabe.com, and store is shop.lionbabe.com) is running on WordPress 4.9.16 and WP Shopify 1.3.4. I’m having trouble syncing items from our Shopify store. I’m successfully able to connect the private app, but then when it tries to sync the Shopify data, it doesn’t make any progress after syncing 50% of collections.
Then if I go to the Tools tab and click on “Resync Shopify data”, it quits after “Validating server connection” with a message saying “The syncing process was manually canceled early.” Also if I try to “Remove all synced data from WordPress”, I get the following error:
521 Error: Unable to establish an active connection with the web server.
This occured while calling: WPS\API\Settings\Connection::check_server_connection on line 163
I’m assuming there’s some kind of issue with connecting to the server? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
George

]]>Cleaned cache? No didn’t do that yet. Was using Safari.
Tried Chrome (they say SAFESt, but really? Google? Our stuff is copied stored anyway, so not sure why anyone cares but I do)…..so, changed to chrome and t worked instantly.
PEACE
Hope THIS HELPS someone – if someone knows about SAFARI, please let us know!
SiteGround.
How does this compare toward Bluehost? Plus, what hosting includes this plug in (ELEMENTOR), $1000 for 4 sites? Hmmmmm, or $250. If worth it, perhaps, but now we know why free. Is it better than dreamweaver? Liking it so far?
Would appreciate any training since they just swapped from C-panel to “SITE TOOLS” in September. I have a few more weeks to decide. Sitehost or somewhere that offers plugins may be worth it. Just saying.
Like it so far, service is great!

]]>I have tried raising my php settings to as high as

]]>We launched https://www.strengtheory.com last week. We’ve already had several readers contact us to say that they are having trouble with the eNews Extended widget, though.
Most people are saying they fill in the form, click submit, and then nothing happens. The “thank you” page begins to load and then stalls. Obviously, this isn’t happening to everyone so I know that the form is hooked up to Aweber correctly.
Do you think this is an issue with the widget, the thank you page, or Aweber? We get a fair amount of traffic – averaging 7,000 views per day. Would that amount of traffic affect it?
Thanks so much!

]]>Initially the scan stalled at 1300 files, then I followed above instructions and set the max execution value to “15” and the scan stalled at 2000 files, then I followed the final instructions – now scan stalls at 3000 files (that would be most likely ~25% of my site!!).
My Wordfence System Info for PHP Version 5.3.29 returns a max_execution_time
of 30, so 80% means a value of “24” for “Maximum execution time for each scan stage”. I’m on a shared Lightspeed server, website is dare2go.com
And now?
