As per my instructions, she created a wordpress.com account (cheshire2019.com) and in the process got charged $300 for a domain and business account when all she wanted was the $$79.00 subscription to the stamps.com Extension.
Fair warning to others – because of the confusing account creation system Woocommerce has put in place, My client created her wordpress.com account, then clicked on the stamps.com extension purchase button ($79) and was led down a rabbit hole that charged her $300 for a domain and a “WordPress.com Business” account.
The worst of it was she was never able to purchase the stamps.com extension subscription. From the Woocommerce website, when prompted to connect her WordPress.com account to Woocommerce, she got this:
<img=”https://www.markhannondesign.com/clientJobs/Woocommerce_Login_Fail.png” />
The same user name and password easily logged both of us into her new WordPress.com account.
My client spent the better part of a day trying to resolve this and in the end, we couldn’t.
Shame on you Woocommerce for creating a system designed to overcharge customers more than they intended to pay and making it impossible to get the resources they need.
]]>Is there a recommended extension WooCommerce that works with ShipStation? I’ve seen extensions out there that can do live rates for USPS, but some mention Stamps.com integration and others mention USPS integration directly into WooCommerce (but no mentions of ShipStation).
For example, we have a Stamps.com account through ShipStation, but I am not sure if that means I should get the Stamps.com for WooCommerce extension instead or just use “USPS Shipping Method” extension.
To be clear, our cart would only need to calculate shipping rates for addresses outside the United States. Domestic orders need to stay free.

I have this problem since Monday and Woocommerce support is the worst. They wait 24 hours to response every email and in the last two occassions they just said that the username and password that I created for them didn’t works, and they wait 24 hours again to response a simply question and to say that. I needs to open my shop now, I’m lost money every day I can’t open.
Thank you
]]>When checking out on vertical view (on mobile) the shipping options (radio buttons+choices) are oddly pushed to the top of the checkout page rather than being in the slot for shipping methods. However if I view the same page in horizontal view the shipping options are located where they are suppose to be.
I’m using the Stamps.com plug-in to display the shipping methods.
Anyone know the problem/fix?
Thank you!

]]>I think the important things to me are…
Support for realtime pricing of shipping from USPS rate tables/api plus markup to customer.
Boxing routines to determine the right box(es) with support of flat rate, regional boxes, and custom box sizes where I can select which boxes I have and it will determine which to use
Support for printing label, weighing box, and paying for postage.
Shipping email confirmation
Tracking numbers automatically added.
Support for stamps.com or ship station. I like both, but am finding it hard to pick the right plugin(s) needed to do above.
The ship station plugin looks good, but doesn’t seem to do any pricing or boxing logic so you have to build a shipping pricing method.
Woo themes I think has 3 plugins that seem to do above with stamps, but doesn’t mention ship station.
Any advice?

]]>I am setting up the shipping section and have chosen the ‘Stamps.com – USPS Basic’ method. I have entered the Stamps.com information – but when I check the dropdown it gives me shipping methods it shouldnt. For ex: it gives me:
* Priority Mail
* Priority Mail Express
* Media Mail Parcel
* USPS Parcel Select
* Library Mail Parcel
Some of these we technically dont qualify for (library mail parcel) – does anyone have experience with this? I basically want to be able to choose which options are available in the dropdown.

Thanks again!
