I want to remove the start point. It’s no longer on the map or in the cluster but if I click on ‘directions’ it’s still the starting address on google maps. The ‘origin’ (link) variable should be blank.

I have set up the Google API but am prompted to enter the Start Point, however this field is filled with large semi circular images and I cannot enter a value.

I get the following warning:
Before adding the [wpsl] shortcode to a page, please don’t forget to define a start point on the settings page

Has anyone experienced this?

I am doing SEO on a website that is using the StartPoint theme. It is meant to be a landing page theme I think- however this website also has an about us page (Handyman Campbelltown) and a services page https://www.simplehandymanservices.com.au

I made a different page the home page and now there is no home page. The thing is it is a difficult situation because it is supposed to be a landing page theme. How can I make the home page I have now the ‘official’ home page and get rid of the ‘home’ page on the website? Incredible difficult to explain it is easier if you go on my website.

Because of my set up my current home page is a duplicate of the current homepage – again hard to explain just have a look on the site.

Also am unable to use the yoast seo plugin on the old home page I want to delete (the old home page has a theme landing page template thing). The home page is not even in the pages section of the wordpress dashboard. I have to make changes to it in ‘Appearance’ —> ‘Theme Options’. So how do I go about it? Can I change it in editor somewhere?

Generally the one page theme using sections and the menu on top just link to the sections. But how to add sections to the one page? and how to link the menu to the section?

Everything is great with the theme, except when I’m viewing the live site, the homepage takes a while to respond to the device. My example (iPhone 6S) is that the webpage only fills 2/3 of the screen (white space on right) and doesn’t show anything below the first feature. I imagine that part is because it is designed to come in when scrolling. All other pages are fine.

How do I add line breaks into a field in Theme Options?

I’ve downloaded TinyMCE and Advanced TinyMCE, but this doesn’t seem to help, as they don’t seem to apply to Theme Options’ fields.

Do I need to modify textarea, and if so how? Step-by-step instructions (or something I could copy would help as I’m NOT a natural programmer!!

I am try to customize the StartPoint theme and i am unable to remove the original text that is written over the Top featured image. The text says “Elegant and stylish, Showcase an Image in Full Width. Watch Demo”. I am also unable to remove the testimonials completely.
