Jetpack Stats Image in Admin Bar Broken

At some juncture (a while back, I can’t remember when) the stats image on the admin bar of my site www.daveenjoys.com became broken – and it has never worked since – in spite of several upgrades to both wordpress and jetpack.
The rest of the stats works fine – when I click on the broken image it takes me to the stats dashboard and displays the stats without issues.
I run a number of sites – some on this same virtual private server – none of the other sites have this problem.

WordPress Dashboard Not Working Properly

I am very irritated. When I log into my site to view the WordPress dashboard my stats, incoming links, plugins, wordpress blog, and other wordpress news do not load. They are stuck in loading and the stats is completely blank.

When I hover over jetpack to choose stats nothing shows up, nothing shows when I hover over posts, pages, etc. When I do hit jetpack and then am able to hit stats it is stuck in loading. I have tried to deactivate, delete, and reinstall but that has not worked.

When I am on an actual post my WordPress SEO by Yoast does not show up.

When I click Quick Edit on a post nothing happens anymore.

And I cannot click multiple posts and then click edit because nothing happens.

I need help and can find no one at WordPress to contact. It has taken me over a week to even be able to log onto here!

Just goes away (W circle just keeps spinning). I had to go back to 1.7 so stats and e-mail notifications would work. Site URL:

On my iPhone got a red browser screen saying a certificate mismatch occurred when trying to load my stats page:

You attempted to reach s1.wordpress.com, but instead you actually reached a server identifying itself as gp1.wac.edgecastcdn.net. This may be caused by a misconfiguration on the server or by something more serious. An attacker on your network could be trying to get you to visit a fake (and potentially harmful) version of s1.wordpress.com.

Any chance of getting this plugin stabilized?

Hi,

No matter what I do it says “WordPress.com Stats needs attention: please enter an API key or disable the plugin.”

I have registered a new API key which is not used anywhere. I’ve re-entered the API key, reinstalled the plugin, it looks like something on the WordPress end that is not accepting this API key once the local server/plugin sends it to them.

I have tried the steps on the wordress.com help page, which really doesn’t tell you anything other than how to insert the key.

I’ve emailed their tech support and have yet to receive a response.

You can get all previous versions here https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/stats/download/

Download 1.5 and then upload the stats.php to your /wp-content/plugins/stats/ directory via FTP

Boom goes the Dynamite, and it’s all fixed.
