Page Scrolling Issues (Bounces) on Mobile Device

So we created a WordPress website using a purchased theme. When viewing the homepage on an iPhone the page sticks the first time but after a couple of tries, it will scroll. We noticed that when continuing to scroll up or down the scrolling will work but if you stop the page and then you change the direction of the scrolling it will stick/bounce then it will respond on the second or third try. Additional observation, the page moves to the left and right and bounces back when your finger moves in the diagonal direction and I am thinking there might be a connection there.

I also checked the demo version of the theme and they did have the same issue. I also verified that this also happens on Safari and Chrome.

Boosting a page on search result

There are certain pages that I would like to boost on search (automatically making them bold would be a plus)

Maybe a “Boost pages” check-box selection on plugin options, or a metabox with check/uncheck for boosting that specific page on Page Edit

Is it possible with this plugin?

Can not get rid of Sticky page, please Help

hi;
I have a sticky page and can not remove it,
I installed wp 3.0 on my host added some plugin, like seo pack, google analytic, sitemap, and also a theme by wootheme called Gazette, made some posts scheduled from two weeks ago to some time in future, all the post from the past to now time has been published no problem and the rest shows scheduled, then I had to make two pages, beside the About page that is already there.

first I did a privacy page, tested it worked fine, then I clicked on home page to test the home page as well, the address bar shows the privacy page, so it seems it shows the privacy page as home page, I did check the setting in reading area, and it is set on: Your latest posts, even though i did not make any changes there, I don’t want to have a sticky post anyway, even though that is for sticky post,
I also checked the edit area of the page privacy, it says Visibility: Public,

I made another page for my contact us page to see if the sticky page move to the new made page, I did test the home page it goes back to privacy page again, I then deleted the privacy page, after deletion, the home page again show the privacy address as this time there is no page and it shows 404,

I then deleted all my posts even those which were scheduled to be posted, and then tested the home page, it shows the privacy page again,

to mentioned i did first tired the wp 30 with all plugin and the same theme on my computer ( local server) and everything worked fine without any problem,

I have searched everywhere I could not find solution to such a problem, I have read that there is no such thing as sticky page, but how can this happen?

Hi,

Normally I would just go into “reading” option and say I want the sticky to be a page and then select the page I want.

Now that option is gone from my reading settings?

How do we now make pages sticky?

By pages I do not mean post…..

Hello got any sticky page plugin like the ones of a wp-sticky? Instead of sticky post that should be on top it will be a sticky page that would be on top and the rest below will be blog posts.
