Images stretched on Media Library “attachment details” preview after Reg Thum.

I ran Regenerate Thumbnails for the first time yesterday and now the view of all images in the Media Library are stretched horizontally on the “attachment preview” (ie, when clicking to preview an image in Media Gallery).

I would rather not restore site to backup because it will delete hours of other work.

How can I undo?

Popup loads and looks correct when using ‘preview’ mode
But the live page loads the video elongated, over streched vertically and will ONLY display normal if u got FullScreen and then back to normal screen popup is correct, initial load of pages over streches the popUP????????? it overloads the vertical page of the browser.

The image display used to keep the maximum width or height of the images. I am not sure when it changed but now if there is room, the plugin stretches the image beyond its pixel dimensions. I looked for a setting to keep the maximum image size but could not find it. Is there a way to make sure the images are not expanded beyond their pixel dimensions? This seems to be an issue when using JetPack Tiled Gallery. Images from NextGen Gallery are displayed at their maximum pixel dimension. I tried the Legacy and Classic Reloaded options. If I use Fancybox2, it retains the image size but the timing of the slide is not working. It goes too fast but I will stick with that for the time being.

Everything is updated and my browser is Firefox on Windows 11.

Site logo header stretched in mobile mode

Hi all,

I’m using Themify Ultra and Elementor? Strange I know. Anyways, when in mobile mode, the header is enlarged and the logo blown up, but as you scroll down it goes back to normal. Unsure which theme is causing the issue, but most editing has been done via Themify.

How would I get it back to displaying in normal size? Many thanks for any future help.

Table and shortcode widths stretch across whole page

Hello,

Regular tables and Shortcode Ultimate tables/tab groups stretch to the full width of the page on blog posts. Any idea why this is happening and how to fix it? The rest of the post content, namely paragraphs, headings, separators, and lists stay within the post’s set width.

I’m using OceanWP theme. I have single blog pages set to full width (NOT 100% width), meaning no sidebar. I also tried setting it to contained and the tables stretched to the full extent contained would allow (still beyond the post content).

In the editor, the table appears to be a normal size. I do not have wide width toggle on the table.

I don’t have any custom CSS that would affect tables. Just #footer-widgets tag colors.

Thumbnails stretched out of proportion

Hi,

I just started building my own website. And I already cam across a problem I can’t resolve.

The featured image is looking well on the post only as a thumbnail in my blog post section and in my footer is get’s stretched. I already installed the plugin “regenerate thumbnails” it didn’t help. After that I installed “Force regenerate thumbnails” and that didn’t work either.

I’m not sure which theme I’m using, I use elementor. But don’t know if that’s a problem?

Hopefully someone can help me.

Tiled Gallery shows low quality image size

My tiled gallery is serving up image sizes of 600 or 667 and then stretching them to large sizes like 1200. I have uploaded them at 900 wide, so it should at least be using those larger image sizes. I tried disabling all the site accelerator, lazy load etc. I also tried both suggestions here https://www.hasoptimization.com/2018/01/going-wordpress-images-compressed/ and nothing makes a difference, no matter what I do, you can see that first image, when viewing on desktop is blurry because it is a small version being stretched. I don’t think it’s my theme, as the “large” size is 1024. I don’t have any sizes set to 600 or 667. Thanks for any help you can give with this.

My home page looks fine, but all of the images in my posts are stretched out. This has been a problem for about a month now. How do I fix this? Is this a bug?

Image sizes not working

Hi,
I’m not sure what’s happening but I can’t define the images sizes.
Steps that I am doing:
1- Go to my pages in wordpress (localhost btw)
2- Edit page with elementor
3- Add a new section and add an “Image” Widget
4- I select a random image with like 1920×1080 dimensions
5- It goes 1024×1024 as default and I see the image really small, clicking outside the section seems to update it but it’s all stretched and no height for some reason

Am I doing something wrong in the section, the image or something else? I Think everything was working well before, can’t find any fixes for this.
Note:Sometimes i have to click outside of the section so it updates
