Statement Descriptor issue

Hi,

There is an error when making a card purchase via Stripe::

“Sorry, You are being restricted from placing orders”

Stripe has gotten back stating that it no longer supports statement_descriptor:

As of 01/02/2024, Stripe no longer supports the “statement_descriptor” parameter on the PaymentIntent API for PaymentIntents, in which one of the supported payment_method_types is card. You can see more information here:

Will there be a fix?

WooCommerce Product name on Stripe Dashboard

Hello Team,

We are using “WooCommerce Stripe Gateway” to receive?the payment for the online store available on our website.

Here, the stripe dashboard shows the product ID of the purchased product instead of that product name, can you please help us to add the product name with the product Id on the stripe dashboard so that we can identify the purchased?product easily?

Also, we have contacted the stripe team but they insisted to connect with the WooCommerce team.

On the plugin details it says that it is compatible up to 5.5.3 WP version

Stripe Plugins Differences for Woocommerce

Hello everyone, I am new to this world and I would like to know if you can help me to differentiate the stripe plugin, Stripe for WooCommerce and WooCommerce Stripe Payment Gateway.
I installed the Woocommerce Stripe Payment Gateway plugin in the first instance but when I checked out, the page shows the icons of payment cards excessively large and I did not know how to solve the problem, I did not find a tutorial or anything about it, so I have changed the plugin to Stripe for Woocommerce, where I can view the payment card icons in normal size. Now, I do not know the difference between these two plugins and I do not know if it affects the operation.

I would really appreciate if someone in this forum can give me some guidance on this plugin difference.

“Card number incomplete” error for users outside my country

I have a wordrpess & woocommerce site which is using Woocommerce Stripe Gateway plugin and in the past 3-4 weeks we have some clients outside Span that couldn’t finish the checkout process. An empty error appears.
Using a VPN client, I reproduce the errorand although the message is blank, using a developer tool I see that the message is that the card number is incomplete when it isn’t. I use my own credit card and all the fields are filled. I have some screenshots which links I’ll add below.

On the first screenshot you can see the red empty box and the errors. As you can see the message is blank but on the developer tool the number card message appears.
It only happens with clients outside Spain that pay through Stripe.
Does anyone have this problem? And how do you solve it

Ante todo muchas gracias al equipo de wordpress, sois la ca?a.

No me funciona el checkout de mi pagina de finalizar compra; cuando le doy al carrito funciona bien, me aparecen los productos comprados y un subtotal… Aparecen dos botones FINALIZAR COMPRA y COMPRAR AHORA.

El de comprar ahora me aparece con google chrome pero si utilizo otro navegador, solo aparece el de finalizar compra y si lo clickeo me lleva a la pagina de finalizar compra en donde a su vez aparece un botón de checkout pero no funciona.

?HELP!

Hola!
Primero de todo, muchas grácias por compartir un plugin tan interesante y útil.
Pero quisiera preguntarte, lo he instalado, activado en la pesta?a de autonómos en ajustes y puesto el % del IRPF, pero no me funciona. Al llegar a la página del checkout, todo sigue igual que antes, y no se que puede estar mal.
