Mailpoet Stripping Class Name from Custom Field (Checkbox)

Following many tests, I can confirm that Mailpoet is stripping the class name I’m trying to assign to a link (using HTML code).

This is the Custom Field I created: https://prnt.sc/I5OjYYCPBOI2

This is the HTML code (i.e., class) I’m trying to add to the field:

I have read and accept your company's class="external-link" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Privacy Policy. *

When I save the above, class=”external-link” is automatically stripped (i.e., deleted). When I make any other type of changes, there are no issues.

Please review and provide a fix for this ASAP.

Yes, I disabled all other plugins and changed my PHP level to no avail.

Stripped automatic meta titles and descriptions have been stripped

Folks:

All of my automatic meta titles and descriptions have been stripped from my more than 6,000 posts with your latest update.

Even the main website title was stripped. My Google hits this morning have gone through the floor.

I like the lightweight nature of your plugin but I really need to recover all those automatic meta titles and descriptions.

Loosing parent categories in Child sites

Here’s the problem (since yesterday): I run a multi site wordpress, with 1 main site and 2 child sites with WooCommerce. Main site has all products, whereas child sites contain only portions of them. whenever I publish a new product, or re-publish an existing one, sub categories in child sites are stripped from their parent categories and become parents themselves. I really don’t know why of what’s causing this? Anyone?

After several years without this problem, I have a sudden problem with text formatting.

Whenever I edit the text within any page, all paragraph spaces/line breaks for the entire page are instantly stripped.

I’ve tried going into the text mode and pasting paragraph markers there. They too are stripped upon clicking “update”

One fix, is to split all paragraphs in separate text boxes and then add an empty space box in between – quite laborious if I need to redo every page!

Any thoughts on why this is happening or for a fix would be so greatly appreciated!

thumbnails for category description being stripped out

I’ve been able to create a description and thumbnail for my categories for ages but only recently when I tried to update the description on one of my categories the thumbnail is stripped out for some reason.

I’m not sure if this is something WordPress is doing or my theme. I went through the changelog of my theme and I didn’t find anything. I deactivated all of my plugins to see if it would accept the thumbnail but it keeps stripping it out.

All of the thumbnails in the other categories like this Diva Hall of Fame

Is this something new from WordPress or does anybody have any suggestions as to what I might be missing?

Good day. We are working on a site that needs to be kept hidden from the public domain during development so I am not able to provide a link. The problem I am having is related to the slide editor. I need all the elements on a slide to be linked so in the Text tab I added “a href=”my link” (including <>) as the first line and then “/a” (including <>) as the last line of code. When I save the slider the links work fine, but if I switch to the Visual tab and back to the text tab again the link is removed. Do you perhaps have an idea of why this would be happening and how it can be prevented? Thanking you in advance.

Exclamation points stripped from the description

Thanks again for a great plugin,

I’m having issues where my product feed will strip any exclamation point (!)
The result is a bit weird, with sentences being all smushed together.

Anything I can do?

Icons visible in editor, not visible on published posts

Hi there! I’m using the plugin and loving it but the icons I select don’t show up on my published page (for example: https://xsreviews.co.uk/editorial/games-with-built-in-benchmarks-2017/). I selected a shopping cart icon for these buttons, which shows up fine in my editor but then disappears in the published post. Any ideas what might be causing this? Anything I can check?
