I am running the Structure theme (https://organicthemes.com/theme/structure-theme/) on my client’s site: https://love2sweat.com/
Organic theme has an older version of AnythingSlider photo slider running on the home page. There is no option to change the transition to a “fade” effect.
**Can someone tell me how to upgrade within Structure theme (WordPress) the AnythingSlider to the newest version, so that I can use the fade transition effect?
Thanks!
Julie

]]>Please don’t send me to another thread where there is already a “solution” for this, trust me I have tried everything, thus creating a new thread. In a nutshell: Is there a way to hide the thumbnail (featured image) of the latest post “only”?
]]>I was trying to change the size of my header in the Structure theme and seem to have royally messed up.
My website is https://hellokirsten.com/hottopic/ and as you can see is thankfully still there.
However I can no longer access the dashboard. When I try I get the following message:
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare header_style() (previously declared in /home/hellokir/public_html/hottopic/wp-content/themes/Archive/includes/custom-header.php:9) in /home/hellokir/public_html/hottopic/wp-admin/custom-header.php on line 14
I deleted the file customheader.php from my CPanel, made a minor change to it, and then re-uploaded it. Resulting in this message. I deleted that file and reuploaded the original but the message remains. I would really, really appreciate some help!
Here is the tutorial I was following: https://sonyalynndesigns.com/how-to-change-structure-themes-custom-header-size/

]]>Yet in the most recent post that I put up, it decided to turn the comments off and only display the featured image in the feed of posts 1/2 way down the first page as opposed to on the home page & at the top off the actual post as well.
I’ve spent best part of 2 days trying to work it out. I’ve checked all the usual suspects with regards to settings. Taken out new widgets I’d put in, but to no avail.
Hopefully somebody will be able to help.
Many thx in advance.

And i dont want to use 69 USD for the premium theme.
i can see that the Video Functionality is not in the free version of this theme – and i guess thats why i cant view my youtube links at my front page blog.
QUESTION:
How can i enable this “Video Functionality” ?
Do i need to do some custom code? if yes, can someone help with this?
my site right now: soafoto.dk/jesper
Thanks.

Here is the way the front page of our blog appears now.

As you can see, the “featured image” that should appear and be replaceable with each new post in a specific “Category” isn’t showing up. That’s the problem, and I’m looking for a solution.
We want a “magazine look,” so we want a new large “featured image” to appear when we post (under a specific catagory) once a month (sort of like publishing a new issue each month with a new cover). Our large “featured image” is supposed to appear on the left (next to the text widget on the right), under the title for the post. It doesn’t.
I’m using “Structure Theme” by Organic Themes. I simply want the theme to do what the theme’s description says it will do–display the “featured image” that I upload in the edit post screen. It worked the first time I added a post to the blog (but I deleted it, thinking something was wrong because, originally, I didn’t want the thumbnail in the post to have the exact same image as the one appearing in the “featured image” screen, but that’s not an issue anymore). Now, I can’t get a “Featured Image” to appear at all, no matter what I do.
As you can see, the space for the image is created, but the image doesn’t appear. Can you please tell me what to do?
We were thinking we’d buy the premium version for our web site, but not if we can’t even get the simple blog version to work.
