Thanks for your wonderful plugin
]]>Jetpack has decided that the IP address that hosts my entire WP install is “has been flagged for potential security violations”.
When I got to wordpress.com to override this stupidity, my attempt to whitelist the server IP address is met with “An unexpected error occurred. Please try again later.”
Please advise how I get access to my own self-hosted WP install now and stop this incredible idiocy from ever happening again.
The “send yourself an email” thing just sends me right back to the “flagged for potential security violations” screen.
When did Jetpack become stupid?

]]>After updating to version 1.6.8 or higher, the option “Don’t cache for logged in users or those that comment” is changed to a split set of options “Known users” and “Users that have a cookie”.
Now the DEFAULT is “Known Users” with internal value 2, but for the websites that already had this plugin, the value for “known” was 1 and that is now “Users that have a cookie”.
The problem with this is that it checks for ANY cookie. Not a specific set of cookies, no option to ignore certain cookies, no. if ($_COOKIE) { dontCache(); }
The issue with this is that EVERY WEBSITE HAS AT LEAST 1 COOKIE. There is the “I don’t want to be tracked” cookie. The “WordPress tests if cookies are available” cookie. need I go on?
My point is; any website that upgrades from 1.6.7 to higher will no longer cache pages, requiring a configuration change.
So be warned; if you upgraded to a version above 1.6.7 and have not yet checked, or perhaps you came here first to see “why does my website no longer cache pages”, this is probably the reason.
]]>This is to the Person Who created the plugin= Go to Hell you Idiot, Stupid, All Bad words in this World.
]]>What the HELL were you thinking with the latest “upgrade” talk about taking a step backwards. It is MUCH harder to use now and much harder to navigate around options, ones you think you should be in a logical order but now are hidden away.
With live traffic you have stupidly removed the buttons (eg. block IP etc) underneath each blocked bot, so now what the hell do we do? Where the HELL are they?
I was fine with this plug until some stupid monkey changed it.
WHOEVER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE LATEST VERSION DOES NOT DESERVE TO HAVE A JOB.
YOU HAVE BLOODY RUINED THE PLUG IN AND AM NOW THINKING OF CHANGING IT
If something works fine, DONT DAMN WELL “FIX IT” as you have ruined it
]]>The justifications posted by Andrew Ozz were nonsensical at best and showed his indifference to the average user and designers.
Thank you for making this plugin.
Please don’t use it to hack my sites.
