PLEASE HELP! the “Edit CSS” page and it’s blank? The CSS Stylesheet Editor is completely missing! I have no access to the Stylesheet.
Any idea why this would happen? It was there yesterday.
When I go to: Appearance > Edit CSS > nothing is there except the “Publish” and “CSS Revisions” info on the left hand side. The right side usually has the area where you can enter your custom CSS in now completely BLANK! nothing is there.
Please help!

Today I went to the “Edit CSS” page and it’s blank? The CSS Stylesheet Editor is completely missing! I have no access to the Stylesheet.

Yoast Sitemap – Stylesheet Error

Hello there fellow WordPress users.

I’ve just started getting into this world but I’m loving it, many new things to learn and damn I’ve been reading a lot! While I’m happy with my progress so far I have the need to ask for help since I’m unable to figure this problem out.

I’m using the “WordPress SEO by Yoast” plugin to generate my sitemap but while it seems to work correctly on Chrome I get the following error in Firefox:

Error loading stylesheet: An XSLT stylesheet does not have an XML mimetype:https://www.gamingsurvivalist.tk/main-sitemap.xsl

And in Internet Explorer instead of appearing correctly I see the following line of text:

I’ve had some compatibility issues with the yoast sitemap and W3 Total Cache and as such I removed it and cleaned my .htaccess file but I don’t think that can be related. It seems to be an error regarding the way the sitemap appears to users but does it also affect the sitemap crawling or SEO? And why the hell is it working on Chrome?

Stylesheets not loading

Hello,

My site was working fairly well for awhile with minor hiccups up until a few weeks ago. For some reason, at first, Chrome started displaying my site as purely HTML, but worked on other browsers. I cleared the cache, and everything seemed to return to normal.

A few days after that, the HTML problem returned with the site now being loaded as pure-HTML on multiple machines and browsers. As far as I know I did NOT mess with any important documentation, and see no reason why it would just “go down” like it did.

I am severely illiterate when it comes to coding, etc., so any third grade help would be appreciated. My website is www.melosentertainment.com.

Theme Install Failed

I’m trying to install a new theme and it’s failing. But the error is erroneous as I checked the folder that I zipped and the style.css stylesheet is in there. Here’s the exact message:
“The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.
Theme install failed.”
Does anyone have any tips? thanks!

[Plugin: eShop] Eshop css error message

Hello!

I’ve installed eshop plugin on my server and at appearance/eshop i received the following error: Warning! “The css file is not currently editable/writable! File permissions must first be changed”. I’ve changed the permisions of the eshop plugin folder but same error. After a while I realized that it is possible that some files did not copy to my server because of my directory settings but I didn’t received no error about this. So I installed a version of eshop on my localhost wordpress instalation and compared the folders and see that there were some files missing in the “/wp-content/uploads/eshop_files”. I’ve just copied those files to my server and everything work’s fine now. Great plugin!

Themes Won’t load

Hello,

new to wordpress and experimenting. I have installed a fresh new install of 2.7.1 and when I add new themes, I get Broken themes with stylesheet missing error.

I know it is my server that is causing the error.
I have two servers one is running with WAMP and that works perfect, no issues.
The other one (with the problem) is running on IIS.

has anyone worked WP on IIS 6 on windows 2003 server. what am I missing?
Oh by the way the default and the classic themes do work.

now to all the IIS haters :-). Not my choice but I have to make it work on IIS. That is what my employer has and they can’t change it.

XML Sitemap Generator – Stylesheet Issue

I am using XML Sitemap Generator for WordPress 3.1.0. I am using WP Version 2.5.1. My website is www.scsbend.com and my WordPress site is www.scsbend.com/blog. I have made the chmod 777 to the two sitemaps and have the sitemaps in the root directory.

The manual sitemap rebuild works without error. However when viewing the sitemap.xml it states:

The XML page cannot be displayed
Cannot view XML input using XSL style sheet. Please correct the error and then click the Refresh button, or try again later.

The following tags were not closed: stylesheet. Error processing resource ‘https://www.scsbend.com/sitemap.xml’.
